an easy quick way to do this vs doing roi's is dividing
return by number of plays..since it's based on a 2 WP bet
that means $4/race..so multiply plays ×4 and that's breakeven point..divide return by plays would give you a quick meaningful number ($$ returned/play)where play = WP bet of $4 total

hart 72.7/23=3.16
rider 52/30=1.73

I'm not gonna bother with roi. .I'll score things like I said whereas 4.0 is breakeven and each tenth plus or minus =2.5% roi...this way to see what you're doing all you have to do is divide return by plays
let's say you're at 3.65 (losing 35 cents for every $4)
3.5 tenths x 2.5 = -8.75% roi
here's where we stand on this method ..
