The tough part of this game on the streaks one goes on. I think a great barometer of one's proficiency is to play tournaments. Especially Lockdown where all picks must be in before the first race and no changing after. That's a good way to get a handle on how you compare to other players. JBEX NY shut down your access to those tournament sites with their new Fantasy law. And I can not legally play Para mutual in my state. Overall this can be a game of streaks so it will be interesting to see how we all do in the home stretch. GL

I think for practical purposes lockdown is more realistic
of the typical players situation..most people can't sit around every day and decisions need to be made beforehand..sometimes you'll be on an 8-1 who was 5-1 ml and you thought would be 4-1 based on how he looked in the pp's...usually view that as a bad thing rather than getting value but they do win on occasion...point is these things are out of your hands with advanced betting but having things done in advance as I said still more practical for most folks

Yeah get your drift. But the point I am making is that a Lockdown game prevents players from taking stabs on shots when they are down late. Lockdown games are more of a pure exercise to compare one's handicapping skills against other players.

yes I agree..I wouldn't play non lockdown games for that reason

debut at Tampa 3 back wins this.. eased 2nd start and trouble last start.. my guess is new owner and top trainer klopp bought him a price where he could break his maiden and go through beaten claiming conditions at this track.. think he has the ability to do that

Yeah NY residents are shut out of Fantasy tournaments. Was up in your neck of the woods last year as I visited Monmouth Park and Delaware Park. Had a good time.

I'm not a casino games player..15 years ago when racebooks were there it was more appealing to me..once or twice a year may go down with my brother just to get awa for a couple of days..enjoy walking the boardwalk in the nicer weather.. some decent meals ..along those lines

I just can't handle m.v. it is one tough track....a lot of my capping is knowing the horses. But I can always pick up a stable horse by watching.

Using Pure Bingo in a HT contest. Done nothing on dirt, but bred better for the turf. Getting played as he is 6/1 off a 15/1 ML.
