    05/06 Woodbine
A couple of plays for tomorrow evening at Woodbine

    R2 #1A Poachers Moon 6/1
Last time out was at the same distance up against much tougher company, gets significant class relief in this spot. Also did not have the best of trips last time out, constantly being squeezed by other horses. As with the last race there doesn't appear to be alot of pace pressure, but with the drop in class it should be less of a factor.

    R5 #12 One Adam Twelve 4/1
Looking to break maiden in his first start as a 4 year old and has been working nicely throughout the spring. Has covered the same distance twice with one second and one third being the result. Hopefully the #1 and #10 can lay down similair fractions to their races at 5 furlongs earlier in the year allowing for a nice off the pace run by the #12. Is also one of only two 4 year olds in the field filled with less mature 3 year olds. The other 4 year old is making his career debut.

5 units to win on each

My 5 unit best bets are so far 3-3 (50%). Showing a profit of +$6.30 using a flat $2 wager. Also all 6 picks have been in the money finishes.

In the second #1A Poachers Moon didn't get the fast fractions needed to succesful make the run off the pace down the stretch. Closed like a rocket to get third but simply ran out of track, paid $2.70 to show.

No such problems in the fifth where the #12 On Adam Twelve showed that he was clearly the best of the field, tracked the front runners early made his move around the turn and pulled way away down the stretch! Paid $5.30/3.30/2.70.

After tonight my posted 5 unit best bet plays are 4-4 (50%). A flat $2 wager would result in a profit of +$7.60, all 8 picks have been in the money finishes!

I apologize for my incorrect addition, with a $2 flat bet the profit would actually be +$8.40 not +7.60
