heres the link for you bud:

Get the latest horse racing entries, results, and past performances from Daily Racing Form. Place smarter horse bets with expert analysis, stats, and live updates.

in regard to your cris question, they are giving a prop type bet between those two horses. basicly pick the one that will have a better finsh in that race.

Only way to beat horses is to know an owner, trainer or jockey.

So what are your top recommendations for me? like what should I read and learn, before I start looking at bets? Is there a site that I can type in a horse and find its info? I mean its two horses theres a 50-50 chance, that doesnt seem to bad for a small wager? right? HELP! THANKS!

check out the morning line odds. Watch the early and especially the late action on the horses. That cash is usually coming from the owner/jockey/ ect. For example, a 12-1 morning line comes on the board at 5-1 and gets hit in the last 2 minutes to 2-1. The public is not doing it. Also, look for allowance/non winners going into claimers. they usually do well. Finally, look for horses dropping in class. Sometimes they drop because there is something wrong with them but 15k claimer running 1:55 will beat a 5k claimer running 1:55 95% of the time. Also check out the speed in the race. IF you have a ton of front end horses and a good closer chances are a speed dual will set up the closer. You could also have closers and one speed guy who rates his horse well and steals it because the race marks were too slow for the closer to catch. Watch jockey changes. If you do horses for awhile you know the good jockeys. I cannot tell you how many times I watched a crap horse with a crap jockey get a good jockey and crush the field.

On thoroughbred racing I do not use a program. I use the odds and the site I use with the video allows me to see some past race videos. Mostly I go by the odds. With harness racing, my favorite, I know about 50% of all horses by heart including their past performances, drivers, ect. However, 19 years of harness betting will get you some knowledge of horses. The best is to bet lite on meadowlands when they start racing again, watch the horses, and look for stuff like closers getting locked in, breakers off a win, trapped inside, ect. I write down their names and cream them the next week and win about 75% of those races. My problem is I am a gambler so instead of sitting on a few races I bet too many.

Most people just use the past performances to handicap a race. It has all the info a person could want. As far as needing more info than that, you may want to check out these three sites. Other than that, there's not much else out there.

Fabric you can always check the track's website for analysis, probably not much better then flipping a coin. For example http://www.keeneland.com/liveracing/picks.asp

I play a lot of ponies - not in the U.S though. Videos as suggested earlier are a must. I like to see it with my own eyes rather than trust the info on a formsheet. That way i can gauge which of the top rated chances is performing the best. Lotta hard work and long hours sometimes but worth it if you can snag a few winners = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Things are going very well and thanks for asking. I told you that I won with Borrego in the Jockey Club Gold Cup. I followed that up with a win with Host in the Shadwell Turf Mile. I'm getting ready for the Breeder's Cup races. I'm liking Borrego and Rock Hard Ten in the Classic and I like Shakespeare in the Turf. I liked Powerscourt in the Turf and was surprised to see that he was retired a couple days ago.

I like to see it with my own eyes rather than trust the info on a formsheet. That way i can gauge which of the top rated chances is performing the best. Lotta hard work and long hours sometimes but worth it if you can snag a few winners = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Not many tracks give free video anymore and here is a link http://www.drf.com/racing_links/links_tracks.html for some tracks that do give free audio or video. Your best bet for free video is sign up with a USA horse book like youbet.com or brisbet.com and then you get all the free video you want.

Past Performances you can buy at DRF, Bris or TSN as they are all similar

For the heck of it I put a little money on flower power in the breeders cup at 20-1 future odds. The 3 faves have had a little trouble with this distance and who knows what will happen.

                                                                Hi Fabric,
