Friday May 1st @ Woodbine
So far my top bets are 1-1 with a return of +$2.80 based on a $2 wager
R1 #8 Creekside Cafe 4/1
Should have no competition running to the lead allowing her to control the pace. Was victorious her last race of 2008, was going the same distance in a race that unfolded about the same as this one should. Husbands was aboard for that win and once again gets the mount. Also get a solid trainer in Scott Fairle.

R2 #5 My Bad 4/1
Another case of a horse that should have no competition when it comes to taking the lead and no one to get sucked into a speed duel with. This is his second start of his 2009 campaign. On April 11th went 6 furlongs and ran a solid second only beaten by a horse that ran a monster of a race. Is in against easier company in this spot. The jockey Emma Jayne Wilson has been aboard for all 4 starts of the 3 years olds career, 3 of which resulted with finishes in the money. You also have the top trainer of the meet thus far in Nicholas Gonzalez.
The #3 Collerosa seems to be the dominant closer of the field. Broke his maiden earlier in the month and is now coming back going a couple furlongs longer which should help his chances. However the most likely pace of the race just doesn't setup for an off the pace winner.
