Really feel strong about the 3rd race. Hated to take the favorite like Tripski is, especially one that will have to close late, but the E horse isn't very good at all and the 2-3 EP's aren't better horses either so oh well I guess

Apparently a lot of pros are loving Visitation in the 8th race and he's around 15-1 right now but I just don't see it. If a decent jockey was on Wrightwood, I would play him at 8-1 in the 8th. I thought about an EXACTA box in the 5th with Kiwi Attitude and "And Then Some" but decided to pass. I really think its And Then Some's race to win

Got the itch after yesterday so I'm capping Aqueduct as well. Here's what I have so far. Ezra in race 2 and Native Hero in race 4 are solid longshots according to pro's I suppose but I just can't buy the jockey and owner on Native Hero

Not sure if I'm going to be able to get the rest of the races done but have a good feeling in the 5th race. Scared of all the love for Morethanjusthello. 10-1 right now but some pro's have him as the frontrunner. Posting this to just keep an eye on it

Those come from Track Master. I like that they're cheap and there's some decent analysis that you can incorporate into your capping.

Another shit beat. Noble Kent photo finishes from behind to cost me a win on Prime Issue. Had the 2nd and 3rd place horses in an exacta and it looked good until very late

Slightly profitable day so far (literally up around a unit) with 3 races left at Santa Anita. I realize my volume is way too much to be successful but I'm still in the experimenting stage. I'll be more selective and will be making multiple unit bets at some point. I'd like to get into Gulfstream Park and maybe Golden Gate or Tampa Bay Downs coming up next.

When I was reading your thread I was going to say this exact thing. It's very very hard to be profitable with action in too many races. That being said I/we all do it many times. Trust yourself and if you like the 15-1 shot get down on it. Who gives a shit what somebody else says. Trust the #'s and learn your own capping style and you'll have plenty of good days. The Sport of Kings is a roller coaster ride!

To me, you can do all the research you want but until you start betting and REALLY paying attention, you just don't get a true feel for it. Need a couple winners to make this day profitable more than likely but still just down a couple units today I believe
