Jay, seem to know what your doing, I'm a newbie but here at the casino. What would be a good money bet with about $100 worth of betting on the race for the roses? Trifecta, w/box, Superfecta...which horses. I know very little about the horses. I'm a game better only, thanks bro.

For a newbie like yourself I would suggest just play win bets. Find 10 horses you like and bet $10 to win on each. A second option that I personally like is Exacta.

Use the 10 horses you like and bet a $1 ex with another 10 horses on the bottom.

Exacta payouts are usually very big.
