Yeah I've been betting horses a long time with very little success. A couple big scores keeps me coming back. Money management has always been my downfall. Trying to get better with that for sure.

thanks for the suggestion but just like to keep things simple as far as what I have to do.. will consider making a designation during both the big meets when I think one qualifies <<26>>..am using brisnet now as its much cheaper and IMO just as good as the drf.. just the premium plus not the ultimate.. one thing they don't have that the form does is dam specific information which is very important to my maiden capping.. do have my sire ratings book but that's more a secondary tool.. all in all not worth paying the extra for the drf just to get that dam info.. have to use my judgement and may decide to get the drf on occasion to help with those races ..usually by about the 3rd week of the saratoga meet I'm yearning for belmont anyway...spa hasn't been kind to me over the years but one good meeting there could potentially make up for a lot of bad ones..a little luck and selectivity I believe is the key there.. having access to cheaper pp's should help with the latter as I can peak at one or 2 other tracks if I want and feel less committed to cards I'm not crazy about when I only spend $1/track for info..looking forward to both meets

^ Good move switching to the Brisnet's IMO. I have been using them for about 1.5 years and find their numbers to be solid. In additon you get pace figures, breeder ratings, running stlyes, training info, and track profiles with the Ultimate. With the ultimate PP's you do get some dam info as well in their comment section. Keep us updated on how you find their speed figures to be.

Realize you had a bad Spa meet last year, but maybe the addition of pace figures may help some. GL.

thanks proceeding slow with the pace figures.. a secondary tool for me but that may change over time.. if I wind up spending 50-60/mo may get the unlimited plan for 75 which gives you access to the ultimate pp's as I'm sure you know ..see what happens
