chrome had a great year..........i just thnk he had a great run..........he is a strong horse ...but when you are 3 you can mature quicker than others ..he did...the rest caught up......

I won't be surprised if Bayern wins, having won the Classic, etc. but I hope CC wins it.

Having been the talk of racing for most of the year, as well as winning what he won, that works for me.

My knock on Bayern is his one dimensional, quit without a trip, style. Hard for me to like a HOY that gets beat 20+ lengths twice when things don't go well early. In both of those races, he gave up after a 1/2 mile.

With almost every race of CC's being pretty much what was expected prior to the race, (IMO he was understandably short in the Pa. Derby as well as the Classic) that tells me he showed up EVERY time he was asked and tried from gate to wire every time.

Guess I am a sucker for heart, consistency, and not getting aided by speed crazy surfaces, so for me, it's CC.
