Gonna go with DRF expert, Dan’s pick, 4- Mia Mischief (ML 5-2). I think she is the speed of the speed and they will need to catch her for the win. Baffert and Smith’s horse certainly has a chance, but I think she is overbet here. That leads to better odds on the ML favorite, the 4.

DRF Race of the Day- Race 10 at Kentucky Downs The Kentucky Turf Cup going 1 1/2 on Turf.

The DRF experts picks are: 2- Nessy (ML 15-1, Dan’s Pick), 3- Manitoulin (ML 6-1 Matt’s Pick and 8- Arklow (ML 12-1 Mike’s Pick). Again, the key to this race is pace again. While yesterday there was a lot of speed, today I don’t see a lot pace developing. I’m think the 8 Arklow will be the one controlling the pace of this race. So, I like the 9- Soglio (ML 12-1) who I think will be sitting just behind the 8. That should give him the tactical advantage. Hopefully, they can hold off the closers. I think the odds on the 9 with closer to 20-1 because he is a little light in terms of class.

Experts at DRF are picking the 3- Fog of War trainer by Chad Brown. Impressive maiden win at Saratoga going 5 1/2f. Pedigree wise there is no doubt. On paper, he is definitely a top choice as he is the ML favorite (ML 5-2). I am more interested in the 9- Nashtrick (ML 8-1). I like the way he broke his maiden at first asking at a very difficult distance (7f). He broke poorly but he recovered and still by 3 lengths. He should work up a trip just stalking outside.

DRF Race of the Day for 12/14 is Race 4 at Aquaduct going 1 mile dirt for maidens fillies 2 yr olds.

Experts at DRF picked the 4- Miss Marilyn (ML 10-1) and the 6- Stonewalker (ML 4-1). While 7-Romantic Pursuit (ML favorite 9-5) is in my stable, I am going to play against her. I think she will be better on turf and long (so hoping McLaughlin will try her on turf). Most the starters here have only race only once except for the 1 and the 3 and they all don't have anything catches my eyes. Therefore, I am going with the 2- Joyful Frolic (ML 8-1) first time starter. While 1 mile is tough for first time starter and especially for 2 yr olds. I feel that with her pedigree, sire by Curlin (grand sire Smart Strike) and with that bullet workout on 12/6. Think she might be ready to roll. Jock Luzzi can pop at a price. And I expect her to go even higher with Chad Brown, Pletcher and McLaughlin taking most the money. Trainer Danny Gargan has decent numbers with 2 yr olds and 1st start and MSW and route runners. Gonna take a shot at her.

NO good. the other one by trainer Gargan won at 5-1, bet down from ML 10-1. my horse did not break well from the gate, she will be in my stable, should be better next out.

The experts picked the 7- Almanaar (ML 10-1) and the 6- Blacktype (ML 12-1) and the 10- Divisidero (ML 6-1). My pick will be the 12- Zulu Alpha (ML 12-1). He is in my virtual stable and since I don’t have the form today, I watched his last two outings. He looked good both times turning for home in the stretch. Looked like he had an extra gear. Today he will be ridden by I. Ortiz instead of C Hill. That should be even better his chances. So we will see....

No good. Didn’t have that late kick like he usually does. I think that outside post hurt his chances. Channing Hill always tucked him along the rail, tracking the leaders. Today, he had to go wide all the way. Oh well, down again.
