Looks like the only racebook in town is plenty busy. Got there yesterday and most of the seats are reserved...very nice place even with joey bagadonuts screaming into his cell phone that he can't find his friend, no cigarettes and threatening to jump off the parking garage.....just another day in ac...lol

heres how I roll

walk from a comp suite at harrahs to the Borgata and go right to the windows with a small wager ($5)....slightly shivering-u tell them where you've come from because you want to play your $ on the ponies. Instant comp (probably two) drink coupons
I signed up for their (borgatas) rewards card and am already getting offers....and they'll get my $ from here on out if theyre the only spot in town with a racebook. lucky for me the place is NICE too!



*gorgeous cocktail waitresses in the racebook....never a let down. losing hurts less it seems

showed up at 12:30 today and every single seat was "spoken for" ad barely any staning room....wtf is that place gonna look like on derby day??

I'm always there . I know the lady who puts the reserve seats and she always bumps me top of list .They really need to create a bigger room and start taking away from the poker room . The only thing that sucks is they don't allow you to play the 20 cent rainbow 6 even tho you are putting in a $400 ticket they don't accept bet

In my footloose and fancy free days I would rock AC all the time, early 2000's. Settled down, still go with my parents and family once a year in the summer. They get a top floor suite at the Showboat. It is fun.

What happened to these casinos closing their racebooks? Was it the allotment of money the state reduced to the casinos? I read something about this happening. Something where more money will go to the tracks. I keep checking to see year after year if they expand the AC Racecourse meet and this is where I read something about the funds allocation.

Casino's dont give a shit about horses, they dont make jack........shit......they want slots, , the horse rooms for the most part where the size of pigeons nest, they are all closed except for borgata, and the atlantic city race track will have there yearly 5 day turf meet the end of april i believe.

that is the number 1 reason why i cabt take harrahs, they just crush horses 1/5 on keep going with a 6.20 double......i hit a pick 4 there once ,with a 30.00 horse and the pick 4 was less than 30.00 , i remember it was when st elmo hero came here and won 23 in a row

cecil if you get this there is a horse at pocono 5th race .Gotta Love Him he ws 50-1 last out, only because there was a 1/9 in the race, he was really good last week, the line shows a break, only because coming home he ran into a horses ass he had so much pace , and it was his second time out this year, he should be good, but its horse racing aye.

Tuesday ill be at the Borgata firing away at hoosier/Pocono...working in OC mon/tues/wed on my friends shore house but staying at the showboat for free and recently discovered jimmy buffets margaritaville at resorts (in the mini blender)

this could get ugly.....
