It means I'm interested in both horses and with the odds you're getting in general nothing wrong with playing two. If you bet two either one or both will be half unit bets (hu). Sometimes I will use this as a hedge with the lower odds horse to break even or make a little if that one wins. The main theme is if you bet two bet a little less on each one

Determine what your unit is. If it's 10..
hu = half unit

Give you one horse.. bet 10
two horses both half unit.. bet 5 on each
one half.. bet 5 one whole..bet 10
one horse half unit.. bet 5

As I said these are loose guidelines. Horses may go off much higher or lower
than their morning line so use your best judgment on those occasions

Thanks.. trainer is 3/10 $5.04 (before this) first off claim. His 2yo form was very solid and guess everyone was thrown off by the last start which he may have needed. Nice price when you consider everything
