Most race tracks have the following rule when it comes to post parades:

All horses must stay in line and parade ( walk) past the finish line. Once there, they can jog or gallop off. This does change in the winter for short post parades but never in the summer.

At Del. Park this means they must come out of the paddock make a left and walk past the finish line in order, then make a U turn to warm up for a sprint or keep going for a 2 turn race. The Stewards are usually very strict about that. If a trainer wants to not do that, they must request permission, with cause, before they enter. That's the rule.

If they are not staying with that, you should complain to the Stewards. As a fan, you have every right to do so.

If you are watching on T.V., complain to each tracks publicity dept. Chances are it's the cameraman that is screwing up but I can't say with any certainty. Feel free to complain about the cameraman as well. Management really does want to hear this stuff so they can improve there exported product.
