Would not play Orb/Oxbow at that low of odds considering it's their third tough race in 5 weeks. Have to check out pedigrees for distance questions, but early on would favor Revolutionary. I believe the 12 furlongs is in his range.

Oxbow will never make the distance, Orb could probably bounce back nicely here.

I'd also like to think overanalyze has a shot, I have no idea wtf happened to him in the Derby.

Post position draw is tommorrow. Always in a tiz has been withdrawn from consideration and will run in the easy goer on the undercard..probably would have been the longest shot in the field so very smart move by his connections to find a softer spot

I think Orb bounces back and finishes in the top 3...I bet on him in the Florida derby and kentucky derby. He had no chance in the Preakness since no other speed horse decided to challenge oxbow on the lead. I will be playing multiple tickets....trifectas boxing orb, revolutionary, golden soul, with long shots like incognito, frac daddy and will take charge.

One has to wonder if pletcher is going to send palice malice to the lead to soften up freedom child and oxbow...I can't stand that pletcher has 5 horses in this race....I'm tossing unlimited budget and midnight taboo. Revolutionary is his best horse. Don't really know what to make of Overanalyze. I don't think palice malice will run off like he did in the derby but if he does then he will be battling freedom child for the lead and the race will set up nice for the closers. Freedom child is the only horse I see that wants the lead as I think oxbow will try to sit just off the pace.

Watch out for Oxbow(1ST IN PREAKNESS). He has the highest slop rating in the race, However they all have good slop ratings.
Watch out for Lines of Battle 1st time lasix and won in Dubai.
Orb(1ST IN DERBY) is a BEAST and is sitting on the board at a very generous 7-1

Not sure if Mike Smith is still on Palace Malice but if he doesn't control that damn horse to not run to the early lead, he shouldn't be a jock anymore, one of the worst rides I've seen in recent memory.

PP draw will clear a lot up. Traditionally, horses that finish 4th-7th in the derby fair very well in Belmont.

For Golden Soul, that guy is a one hit wonder. Slop, Robbie Albarado, and the destructive pace were the only reasons he showed up. In the LA derby, he hit 4th in the stretch and went nowhere, I expect that type of performance or worse.

This year is shaping up to be a great Belmont including the undercard and I'm excited because last year was ruined by the scratch of ill have another. Paynter ran a huge race only to have mike smith cost him the win moving him off the rail and allowing union rags to win. Pay outs last year were kinda low compared to the norm since 9/2 second choice union rags won. I hope we see paynter race again.
