We went to the Hawthorne contest yesterday and we didn't do too good and we made a lot of mistakes. There is going to be a two day tourney there on Thanksgiving weekend that is going to give 8 spots for the championships in Vegas in January. I hope we do better than that then. I am hoping to have more money then also.

We had fun in Chicago but we didn't do too well and if we would have had win and place bets instead of going for tris and supers I think we would have done better. I think we looked at the leader board and got pressured. Next time we will have a better game plan. They are going to have another one of these that qualifies 8 people to go to the horse racing championships in January over a two day tournament. I hope you can make it there and it was a lot of fun there though. I had a good time and we are going to be more serious than next time because our game plan should include win and place bets on our top plays. Better money management will make us better off.Comment -

im thinking about catching a flight to vegas oct 30th or 31st and driving with my friends in vegas to santa anita they are working out some details for the tickets not sure but a good possibility flights to vegas are cheap right now guy i know caught a roundtrip ticket for $250 from elmira ny to vegas

I sure will keep in touch with you Joey. I have a good friend Alex that is already going out to Santa Anita and he is leaving on Nov. 1. I will pm you his phone number so you can catch up with him. You would like him he is a really nice person. On Priceline he got a good deal flying into LAX so you may want to look at that also. You can bid on prices there and my friend got a ticket to LAX for $208 round trip from here just last week.
I would like to know if they are having a contest at Santa Anita maybe during then. It certainly wouldn't be a bad idea if they did and make it reasonable also.Comment -

friday the 2nd in the 4th race (the juvenille fillies mile)
i like executive privelidge to win it
saturday the 3rd in the 5th (filly and mare sprint) i like

also in the 8th (breeders cup dirt mile) i like

i have been looking over the late pick 4 if the horses i like run that day and all i can say if game on dude looses the classic, it might be a nice pick 4 im looking at 3 horses in the classic
