Tonight is opening night for LSP, I know that BG likes playing LSP but I didn't know if anyone else does as well. Please let me know any picks you like. The will be racing Thursday and Friday 6:30 PM Central and at 1:35 PM Central on Saturday and Sundays.

I don't know why, but I have always loved my Lonestar, I think its the time of day is perfect for me after the real world is done with me! Here's to another positive LS season. I finished last year up decent at LS, so here we go again.
R01 (6-1-3-8) = I love the 6 here, don't see any reason to go anywhere else. If I can get 2-1 or better I will take it for a nice bet. Will also be singling the 6 for any Horizontals. I also like the 1 here to fill in the exotics, so I may take a flyer on a 6-1 exacta. We will see come racetime.
R02 (6-2-5-7) = The 6 will be the heavy favorite, and should win easily, but this race just doesn't seem as clean. The 2 has the pace to put on some pressure and the 5 has some late pace if he gets free down the lane. Probably won't bet this race, but will include the 2,3,5,6,7 on the back end of my DD and in my pick4.
R03 (2-6-1-4) = I love the 2 here, not sure how he isn't the favorite in this one. The 6 will be heavy bet but I think is clearly the second best horse in the field. I will be watching the exacta probables here to see what I can get with a 2-6 exacta straight up. The 2 will be my single in all my horizontals here including my pick 4 ticket.
R04 (3-2-5-8) = Finally somewhere we can get a possible price, I like any of these four horses to win it, maybe even throw in the 1 as well. Depending on prices, you may get a nice price keying the 3 here in an exacta.
R05 (5-4-8-3) = I like the 5 here, but the 8 and the 4 show some flash and may pop up for this one. Again, gotta look for some value if I can key one of these three horses in an exacta or trifecta with the others.
R06 (2-3-WHO CARES) = This is a two horse race, but really I think the 2 comes through easily. Will play both in the late pick 4 but doubt I will play much unless I can get a price of 2-1 or better on the 2 which I don't see happening.
R07 (1-6-8-2) = More easy chalk in the 1 here, dont' see any reason to look elsewhere unless things have been crazy already.
R08 (7-2-6-5) = Finally some prices, I may all this race to get some value in the pick4 hopefully. COuld key the 7 in some bets if there is value.
R09 (3-9-8-5) = Again, we might be able to sneak in some late prices here, I like the 3 going into this race should be set up with the right pace model and have a good shot at this coming down .

R01 (1-4-2-9) = The 2 should be heavy favorite here but I think its beatable, the 9 is going to really press the pace from the outside and should let either the 1 or the 4 to take it down the stretch. If the 9 doesn't jump on strong and pressure the 2 the 2 should win easily, I don't really see the 9 holding on to much here, but could get in the mix in the back end of an exotic.
R02 (2-1A-4-6) = The 6 here is ramping up and looking good for a nice bump in speed figures for this race, not sure it will be enough to win, but it may be a nice price. Not sure this a race my money will be on.
R03 (3-6-2-1) = I know I am crazy, but I like the 3 here, coming out of a nice race his last time out. And pointing well for this one, he could be looking at a nice race here. This race seems like its up for grabs, and anyone could win, could take a shot at the price on the 3.
R04 (2-3-7-4) = Another race that may be set up for the 3 here, I think we may be able to get a nice price out of this race as well.
R05 (4 -1) = The chalk here will be the 4 and it should be, at the same time the pace setup couldn't be much better for the 1 here. The 1 should get the rail and lead for the majority of the race, and may just get an easy pass. The 4 will be coming off the pace strong, just a matter of how much the 1 has in him to fight him off. I don't see anyone else being a part of this race.
R06 (7-1-9-8) = Another chalky race here I think with the 7 being a clean favorite to win this race. We might be able to get a nice price behind the 7 on an exotic.
R07 (7-2-4-3)
R08 (1-11-2-8) = This race will produce a price and should be nice, I will be playing the 1,11 / 1,2,3,5,8,11 exacta here, looks nice.
R09 (2-3-8-9) = the 2 and the 3 seem to be the best of them here, should be a nice race between the two of them.
Early Pick 4 = 1,2,4,6 / 1,2,3,6 / 2,3 / 1,4 = $32

Finally the 3 comes in third, but I didn't bet it because it fell to 5/2....and of course a big hitter in the 5 comes in and I miss my pick 4. So far so not good.

I love Lone Star too a very beautiful track have been there a few times.No Coverage what so ever on Tvg OR HRTV.Both networks just stick to the same tracks no change.I understand they have to show tracks like Anita.Keeneland and such but Turf Paradise and Hawthorne,now there showing pocono.Comment -
