I joined sites like Twinspires and Xpressbet. REgardless if I win or lose, books are making money as I understand in horse betting. Even if I make a killing off the books, Im actually wining from a pool of other betters so technically these are the rare instances that online books would love me.

Am I correct to assume that horse betting books always win even when the player wins?

they make between 4%-7% depending on the type of bets on the handle they generate for the host tracks that they offer. the money is flashed into the individual tracks live pools. no they cannot lose and are indifferent to whether you win or not. they just want bets made.
