Santa Anita - Thursday (Jan 31st)

hi max long time no see i was out to santa anita for the breeders cup loved it out there going to cali in the fall this time for 3 weeks and do a bunch of santa anita again and catch some beach action

in the 5th here thursday i kinda like the #4 miss lady ellen with the 8-2-1 for a exacta

im also throwing something on gary stevens horse in the 1st #10

Hey Joey,
Yeah the more I look at that horse I have to include her (#4). Breaks alertly and she could be long gone. Have to use the 2 in that race as I always include Brice Blanc in a turf race.

Glad you enjoyed your time in So Cal...you get down for Del Mar often?

I feel like the 1st is so wide open, the best horse is probably 3 swiss emperor but its hard to trust a horse who is 0-27 lifetime.
Your gonna see a big upset in this race i like the 5,7, and 9 horse. Best of luck tomorrow ill be at santa anita on friday.

Well, given the even money ML for the 7 and knowing how So.Cal bettors are, guessing this horse goes off 2/5 which will make everyone else an overlay. Looks like a big shot could take it, though I still like the 1 with the added ground. Will tread lightly in the Pick5 and focus more on the Pick4.

2/5 or less sounds right for that horse,he is the dominant horse in the field going into that race. His last race was much faster than par for this field. He is either going to have to fall off dramatically or someone will have to jump up. I would demand a very big price in this situation if looking to beat him.

im going to play a 50 cent pick 5 ticket here costing $18 got to run out to otb and cash a ticket anyways
in the 1st i think the #7 is the best horse going into this race and im going to key him alone and take a shot at this. my picks for this play are":
