Dubai Carnival 1/10/12 - 3/30/12

The Dubai Carnival starts this week on Thursday 1/10 and IMO is the meet with the most well bred/quality of racing every year.If you don't feel comfortable enough to bet it I'd still recommend just watching these races.Sad to say but due to US drug laws this is where the best bloodlines in the thoroughbred horse are.Looks like they cut the number of racing days down significantly to where they are only racing on Thursdays except for Saturday March 2nd,Super Saturday March 9th ,and Dubai World Cup Day Saturday March 30th.Cards start every Thursday at 10:30 AM EST ,Super Saturday and World Cup Day at 8:30 AM EST.As for American interests Animal Kingdom and Royal Delta are aimed at the World Cup. Anywhoo I'll be giving my opinions here as I've done for the last 2 or 3 years.

I usually have to put it on mute.. way too much yacking for my preference. Also wish they showed the numbers of the runners on the screen so you could keep track of who was where.

sbr book can only offer what their hub offers,as explaned to me from mod sbr lou,when i asked them to give us woodbine & mountaineer.

There are some former American horses racing on the first day this Thursday.

Arthur's Tale who was always owned by Godolphin but trained by T Albertrani got transferred to Al Zarooni and goes in the 4th race.Probably best known for his 2nd in the Wood behind Toby's Corner the day Uncle Mo went down.

Out Of Bounds ,who was trained by Eoin Harty for Darley and was transferred to Bin Suroor, goes in the feature Group 2 Al Maktoum Challenge .He won last year's Sham at SA over Secret Circle, the race Goldencents just won a few days ago.

He might be our best chance in quite some time but have no idea who the other 13-14 horses in the gate are going to be yet.

Hasn't had any races since the Breeders Cup but he is supposed to race in the Gulfstream Park Handicap February 9th and then off to Dubai.Needs a lot of time in between races.

Don't touch this crap - Dubai racing is sort of bent.

Foreign horses are drug tested - someone told me that "domestic" horses are not drug tested - so draw your own conclusions !

So, if a Sheikh wants to win - he knows his horse is not going to be tested - as I say - stay away from this shit - give me Aqueduct, Gulfstream, Philadelphia, Santa Anita and Brisnet Ultimate PPs anyday - you can lose your load on this - I am out !

True but in the last few years I've done way better than I expected to just by going by class/rpr/trainer/jockey or when all else fails just take Dettori/Godolphin which is now De Souza/Godolphin.

This is just for Dubai and they only run on Thursdays except the last 3 days of the meet which are Saturdays in March.I've never tracked other peoples picks so I don't really know who else is OK.All I can say is turn on your BS meter and you should be able to tell who is full of it and who is real.
