Race 6 Number 2 Mr Masterpiece 20-1ML WPS
Any1 looking at the racing form must be scratching there head over this pick but let me make a case for him.
- He is racing 3rd of the layoff
- Is taking a drop in class. The 1st and 2nd finishers in his last race were big drop downs and they dominated the race gate to wire. Either of those runners would be 1/9 to win todays race. Mr Masterpiece was on the rail his whole trip which wasnt the favorable place to be on this day. He stalked the 2 favorites then packed it in turning for home.
- BLINKERS ON today. He has broken alert enough in his last 2 races, the rider did not ask for speed on either occasion. I think against this bunch he goes to the lead with the blinkers.
- This is a terrible field with the expected 1st and 2nd choices being a combined 0 for 64.
- He is gonna have to improve but I think that is likely as this will be the 1st time he gets to route on the fast main track.

He did improve his last race. Have to check out the odds and see if there is any value. Playing Aqueduct and probably will post some plays.Comment -

I go into this 6th race bet understanding that there is a better chance that this horse finishes last as opposed to 1st but to me there are enough reasons to back him at what is expected to be a monsterous price.Originally posted by Easy-Rider 66

Going to use the thoro-graph sheets today and tail their analysis as well. On the sheets the horse improved 6 points his last race.
