So theoretically the way to go is to get all historical with the research with respect to box scores. I think like to find out what a team average is and to match it up against the defensive allowance of the other team is what I am shooting for. What I would like to do is to corner just one segment of the gme, and what i am shooting for is team totals. it looks like that wager is usually -110, which means that I have a 50/50 shot at that one. I am going to find out which teams have the best bruisers and the best defense/goalies and ride them for the team totals to either go under or over. I think that my research will lead me to find what goalies are the best at what they do and also what does the team give up when he is in net (look at me I'm learning the terminology now). Something to consider about goalies, a part of their success comes from the two on the blue line ("D"). Also, some netminders fare better against certain teams. Don't forget to consider the goalies home/road afternoon/evening record. I could go on and on but know you get the point (find what works and pound it). You're welcome.
