With Van's loss the other night we went 18-1.

Chicago was the fave last night. Let's start another streak. 1-0

My star plays last night were NY Rangers 7-0 and Vancouver 6-0, both won SU and on -PL.

Tonight's fave of the day is Pittsburgh. Be careful, after capping, the head to head match ups
don't look good. Each are 5-5 with Carolina pt avg +.1 better than the Penquins.

Two star to zero plays tonight. Phila 7-0 and Detroit 5-0.

While capping the games, I assign stars to the better stats of each team. The teams that have the most stars, compared to the other team who has zero stars, are the teams I think have the best chance to win.

Tonight I have 2 (two) teams that match my criteria.

How I pick my teams was explained above where you gave me a point for my post, thank you.

Pittsburgh came through despite my fears.

              2-0 streak.

Philly sucked a big one, while Detroit came through.

No nammertl, Detroit and Philly both had better stats than the opposite team.

Detroit had a 3-1 home record playing against STL, they were 19-8 being ML faves.
Det w/l record was 22-13, they were 13-3 at home. All the arrows on SBR match ups
pointed to Det. In the head to head match ups, they both were tied playing each other.
              Det had a .1 avg advantage 3.7 to 3.6.

I assign a star to each one of those stats. Add them up. Detroit had 5 stars to Stl who had
zero stars. Philly and Detroit had the most stars to zero stars. That's where the 7-0 and 5-0
              comes from.

On the main page here at SBR, where they have the days games listed, (lower right) click
on NHL. Each game has a blue underlined matchup. You can find every stat in there except
              home/ away record.

You can use those match ups for any game, any sport. Very helpful if you're unsure about
              a game.

Didn't take long to end that streak.

                      Dallas is today's ML fave.

Star Plays are: Calgary 5-0, Minn 7-0, Dallas 6-0

Why did this discussion stop? The last 9 days since i started watching the top fave of the night/day has won. Two games went into OT, and all were above -166, but a couple of those days only had 3 games. What happened after the 29th Rkelly?

I was keeping up with the progress of all the chalked teams. There was a week period where if you were betting them you would have taken a hit. Now this last week they are back on track and his system is working again.

you're bound to hit dry spots and if you're not careful you could go bust with this method. After the 29th there was a drought for a while then back to normal.

This happens every year it seems around late December until late January. Same thing in MLB during the middle of the season. Favs just win left and right. It can be very frustrating for some people.

10 straight with Canucks pulling it out in Shootout. When you hit the -320 to -350 range and the games go to overtime or shootout, its a lot of chalk to sweat out... but 10-0 is still 10-0
