As a homer i can't see mtl win. The only way in fact is if Price steal the game.
The habs are horrible this year and won't make the playoffs.

God damn Montreal led 3 times in the game and was 1minute away from victory ... That +180 was so close
Had a feeling they were gonna lose in the shootout ..

Unlucky lost last night..Maybe I should consider "draw no bet" option. (Regulation Time PK) You get slightly better odds then moneyline and your bet is void if game goes OT. But we may have too many "push" bets this way, lol.

Got some "really weird" dogs for today. When you see them, you will say "Eurgh!"

Push better than a loss, I would say definitely mix some in and even throw in some regulation bets. I had MTL in reg +270 last night, that late goal hurt! I go for regulation when game is likely to be wide open, one or both teams are inconsistent(which means they lay an occasional egg or win lots of games easily) and most importantly when one team has fared better in OT/shootout.

Yea i always do a moneyline + regulation bet because games usually don't make it to OT, pays pretty good as long as the team wins :P

It is around 10% that go to Ot, so if all things are equal(which they are not obviously) there is a 10% chance that you will lose out on a win you would have had by betting on regulation. If you compare the implied probability of the odds for regulation versus ML for most games you will see it is usually right around 10%. Check the link below and also look at the two teams # of games that go to OT and also their win percentages in OT/SO. Always good to check the implied probability of any bet, this is an easy site to do it on.
