Not trying to be mean to you but the books love parlay players because the odds are so heavily in their favor. To bet sports and win more than you lose you need to develop a plan and then implement a strategy. Parlays and teasers can become part of your strategy for certain reasons. I use parlays and teasers to avoid paying high juice on heavy favorites. When I do play a parlay it's usually 2 and sometimes 3 teams at the most. Anything over that and your percentage of hitting is like less than 5%. Straight bets are the way to go if you want to get serious about sports betting and using a parlay as a strategy will help but I never rely on them. When they do hit I just consider myself lucky. Just had a quick look at the back stats, to see how we're getting on this season. Using average numbers over the back test period, we have approx. another 200 series to play. A reasonable target would be +50 units. Although we are currently -20 units (3 losses), we can afford to lose another 130 units (5 series?)
