14.6 seconds from 4.85:1, well if you put a small bet on the ml of the Leafs at 2.65 then at least that's good.

Thanks guys. Thanks for being positive. I changed my record keeping to be more accurate since i make all sorts of different bets. Each Unit = $100
CURRENT RECORD:
Correlated Parlays: Wins: 1 Losses: 1 // Units: +2.0 +$200
Puck line Record: Wins: 0 Losses: 1 // Units: -1.0 -$100
Money Line Record: Wins: 2 Loses: 0 // Units: +2.35 +$235
Over Under Record: Wins: 1 Losses: 1 // Units: -0.10 -$10
Total $ Earned: +$325
Ok, I looked at all the games tonight, lots of good matchups.
I really like:
VANCOUVER@EDMONTON: Edmonton at home fired up vs a Vancouver squad with not too many regulars. Edmonton also plays very well at home and will look to their new #1 draft pick RNH and re acquired Ryan Smyth to lead them to a close victory.
I would place 1 unit on Edmonton parlayed the under (2.65x1.80=3.6:1)
I also like:
DETROIT@PHILLY
2 teams with their coaches rotating D rookies, expect this to go over. Detroit gets the edge here.
I will bet Det @1.86 parlayed with the over @1.9 for a total payout of 3.56:1
Potential payouts:
1 unit@$100 for Edm+under = $360 winnings (3.6:1)
1 unit@$100 for Det+over = $356 winnings (3.56:1)
Goodluck!

I like the Detroit play. Also being in London, I would assume it would be a heavy Detroit crowd. No local boy Jeff Carter anymore, either. Good luck, friend.

Detroit is looking like:
Valtteri Filppula – Henrik Zetterberg – Johan Franzen
Justin Abdelkader – Darren Helm – Todd Bertuzzi
Gustav Nyquist – Joakim Andersson – Willie Coetzee
Tomas Jurco – Brent Raedeke – Francis Pare
Nicklas Lidstrom – Ian White
Jonathan Ericsson – Jakub Kindl
Brian Lashoff – Doug Janik
Ty Conklin
[Jordan Pearce]
solid lineup.

I played the 2 parlays and also the 4 plays (2 ML and 2 Totals) and I'm risking for a really small amount the 4 selections parlay!!!

Sergei Bobrovsky
Jason Bacashihua
FORWARDS
James van Riemsdyk, Harry Zolnierczyk, Zac Rinaldo, Eric Wellwood, Sean Couturier, Claude Giroux, Max Talbot, Ben Holmstrom, Wayne Simmonds, Danny Briere, Andreas Nodl, Scott Hartnell, Mike Testwuide, Tyler Brown

That's a pretty strong lineup. Basically the NHL squad minus Jágr, Voráček, Schenn, and Pronger. Obviously if Brière and Timo get scratched, good news for the Wings, but I doubt they'd bring marquee guys on the trip without playing them. Still like the over, especially if the Flyers don't play D around Leighton.
Good luck, tonight, bud!

Yeah, well 2-1 in the 3rd, ml will probably hit but over may not. We will see. Good game so far. I cannot believe the line drop on the EDM/VAN game. Edm started at 2.10 and closed at 1.67. That's an insane movement.

So far so good, Detroit Wins 4-3. Empty net goal would be better then a tying, but I enjoyed the sweat.
So Detroit + Over paid out 3.56:1, will update totals/records after the VAN@EDM game. Congrats to those that tailed.

Yeah that's the power of the correlated parlay. 2 bets directly linked to each other, very nice payout! I have been using this format for a long time and have always done very well.

Ok so Van beat Edm 2-1, so we lost the unit on the 2 game correlated parlay, but as i mentioned before you can just bet on the totals, or the fav ML or the Dog ML to avoid the variance. If your BR can handle the extra bets, be sure to bet the correlated parlays because there is lots of value.
As for Det, they won and it went over, so we won the correlated parlay, the over, and the ml. 4-3 final score so we have a nice payout of 3.56:1, 1.90:1, and 1:86:1.
As i mentioned earlier i use $100 in this tracking thread to represent 1 unit. I am just posting my predictions, its up to you to exercise proper bankroll management and bet what is reasonable. So to cap off tonights results with my overall record this 2011 NHL pre season we have:
CURRENT RECORD: Correlated Parlays: Wins: 2 Losses: 2 // Units: +4.65 +$465
Puck line Record: Wins: 0 Losses: 1 // Units: -1.0 -$100
Money Line Record: Wins: 3 Loses: 1 // Units: +2.35 +$235
Over Under Record: Wins: 3 Losses: 1 // Units: +1.70 +$170
Total $ Earned: +$770

But you didn't bet on the under only in the Edm game, the bet you took lost, how do you still count it as a win? You stated you took Edm and the under, and never said you bet only just th under. Its a loss.

I mean its just one loss, but you count it as a win and a loss. You can't post what you'd hope people woudl've taken. The thread is your bets, which by no means right now is a positive ML record since you never solely bet it or the total, just parlays.

I think it goes like this, it's six bets in total:
1. Red Wings M/L WON
2. Red Wings OVER WON
3. Red Wings M/L+OVER WON
4. Oilers M/L LOST
5. Oilers UNDER WON
6. Oilers M/L+UNDER LOST
Great picks and nice profit, Pro, thanks, man
--
OK, just read through the guide again and it does indeed say that Pro would only bet P/L favs and parlays.
In case of a parlay pick, I will be betting all three separate - team, total, parlay; same as I did yesterday with Detroit and Edmonton - just need to think of a good bankroll management strategy for these picks.

I have my own system relied to this one
ML fav + over :2.5 % of my BR
ML fav : 2.5 % of my BR
over :2.5 % of my BR
under:2.5 % of my BR
puck line: 2.5 % of my BR
ML underdog + under :1.5% of my BR
ML underdog :1.5 % of my BR
Lee presented us 4 games
if you've played 3 bets for each game (parlay, ML, under/over) or 2 bets(puck line, ML) result 14 bets: 8wins/6 losses
i've checked the odds again and i started with 100 units the BR
using the system i presented the BR is now 115 units ( after 4 games only)
Great system Pro. keep going

When the play is made, it's stated parlay only. Not ML, total, and parlay of both

I should have been more clear. As I said, what I personally bet is the puckline, the dog + under, and the fav + over. However, i did say for the purpose of this thread and tracking that if you want to bet moneyline because you don't want to take on the value/variance trade off then that is fine. As well if you just want to bet totals that's ok too.
The record I am showing in this thread represents the picks I make, not what I personally bet. The betting is up to you. You can bet everything or you can just bet the totals, or the correlated parlay, it's really up to you.
When I post my picks, I am obviously giving you the option of taking the team to win + the over/under, or just the team or totals.
So I apologize if I did not make this clear.

Thank you, you got it man! I guess I was a little cryptic in my posts and should have explained a bit more in detail. Great job. My main concern is just giving good picks. I am here to help everyone take back from the greedy books. I have seen so many good people get wiped out and it's about time we won!
