Looked at that Puckit, was worried about Phoenix sneaking one in, requiring LA to score 2. Felt better needing 2 goals than 3. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Sounds like it was a so-so night for most of you. I rarely bet live when it's a 3 goal deficit as the team up rarely keeps pressing and the other team usually knows they're beat and doesn't play great.

I think its a good move to hop on Russia -2.5 early at -108 for IIHF Quarters. Norway getting too much respect after offensive demolitions of Germany and Denmark. Only concern is that it will be the first game of the tourny in a different setting for Ovechkin/Semin

I think Ovechkin and Semin are gonna have no problem in their first game of the tourney. They are probably licking their chops to finally be able to play THEIR game which is playing explosive, offensive hockey. No more trapping and grinding in the corners for them.

I like Russia -2.5 but I dont like playing against Norway, they played pretty descent in their first game vs Russia, and got screwd over by the refs. But with Ovi and Semin on the team this should be a easy win for the Russians, Ill think about it for a lil longer before I make a play here. But Ill play team USA ml for sure!

I think that you make a strong point about getting Russia early. Ovie is not happy about how he was used for the NY series & Semin is pissed & says he won't be back to Wash (if the reports are to be believed) so that should make them very hungry to display their skills for Mother Russia in this tourney.

The only item, & it's probaly nothing, that is gnawing at me is whether adding them into the line-up may funk with the chemistry---similar to what happened to Pittsburgh when Crosby came back...

I'm thinking about Canada -1.5 early as well. Babcock has the team playing better with each & every game. They also clearly outclass SVKin all categories (Xcept G-tending --only because Laco played 1 ore game than Ward).

Sweden should also have no problem getting past CZEl & I plan to take them at -1.5 as well.

FIN / USA will be an excelleny battle that I need to evaluate more before making my choices.

Thoughts???
