I'm not really a jealous guy, but you have no idea how much I envy you. I can't wait until my nordiques come back, cause they will soon or later (in the next 5 years hopefully, could be next year if we start to build this damn building!)

I've never been attracted to the habs even tho I don't hate them.

Anyways, best of luck to the Jets, I'll be rooting for them since they represent hope for Quebec

According to the CBC, they will be broadcasting 22 Jets games this year.

I would bet my caulk and balls that, that game will be televised.

well i live in the u.s. but im a huge hockey fan and die hard STL Blues fan. but i love all the canadian hockey teams (except for vancouver). i think the fans have so much passion up there. so im hopin Versus will televise that opening game. i mean, how can they not lol? the only way i guess is if cbc or rsn or whatever have exclusive broadcasting rights.

Well it appears that ALL Jets games will be televised this year! CBC has 21 + 1 preseason and TSN has all the others. Most TSN games will be shown regionally not nationally though. But thats awesome for me of course, won't miss a game all year.

I was going to make the trek to the 'Peg just to be part of a new beginning, but got hit with a massive car repair bill. Still will try. Nordiques fan that had to convert to father's Flyers, but I always respected the Jets in the WHA.
