it wasn't horton...it was thornton that taunted roam. roam knew he couldn't beat thornton so he pulled his cheap shit. hope thornton knocks some canuck twat out if boston is losing tonight.

ya I meant Thorton. My bad. Dude, it wasn't cheap, Rome isn't a cheap player like that. Listening to the radio today and every hockey expect said the same thing. Maybe a minor penalty. Personally I think it deserved 5 minutes and a game misconduct. Messier made a career playing like that.

After the original impact Rome was sent to the penalty box and the refs were debating over 2/5 minutes. Then after they see the stretcher coming out they give him a game misconduct????????? Penalties/discipline shouldn't be based on the 'outcome' they should be based on the actual play.

Discipline should not be result based as Rome was merely trying to deliver a good solid body check. I think it deserved 2 minutes for interference (since it was somewhat late) but other than that it was clean. No charging, no elbow, no headshot, no leaving the skates.

it was definitely a dirty hit, if that happened to one of the sedins or kessler, canuck fans would be saying the same things boston fans are saying...and it's definitely an advantage for the canucks to lose rome, while the bruins lose horton...still think vancouver wins this series in 6 now...game 5 will be easy win for vancouver at home and then too much pressure on boston in game 6

How will game 5 be easy for Vancouver? They BARELY squeaked out 2 wins at home, and got dominated in Boston. The Sedin line looks lethargic, Luongo has zero confidence, and the D is having trouble since they're shorthanded. And the refs aren't falling for the Canucks flopping bullshit.

I don't see any way it will be an "easy win"

the league actually made a good choice with how many games they gave rome.
                way to go !
