I have to admit it......I am not that enamored with the Vancouver Canooks..
never was...never have been......they are my Green Bay Packers of the NHL
Vancouver is a false favorite in the true sense of the word. Totally overrated!
I have to agree with what a long time fan wrote about the Canooks after
they had their asses unceremoniously handed to them last year by Chicago...
The fan wrote
Princess Daniella and Princess Henrietta are going to be 30 at the start of next season. 30 years old and never past the second round. 30 years old and idiot deluded fans are still saying.. oh yeah the Princesses are just growing into their roles.. they'll be better next year..Meanwhile REAL stud players who are NOT princesses are in the top ten in scoring when they are 22 and leading teams deep into the playoffs. A place that Princess Daniella and Princess Henrietta along with the biggest, greasiest sieve in the world will never see. GM has duped the suckers with the ridiculous signings of these losers to ensure a top ten finish and first or second round exit for the next five years. Ensuring decades of future mediocrity with the no cup and 25th overall picks that the Canucks will never turn into bluechippers..Just losers who the media will keep telling the morons "just need time to develop" when they are 23 while other teams field all star 18 year olds.

But I am gonna do this year what I did with Green Bay Packers in last
years playoffs.....I am gonna bet them every game.....
I hate both teams so betting them to win is just ideal for me.....
Its simple really......
If the Vancouver Canooks Win.....well then, I win money....Nothing wrong there..
If the Vancouver Canooks Lose......I will so gladly pay to see the long faces
at GM Place again staring into space......I will so gladly pay to read the Vancouver
newspapers after the hometown team is again reduced to shambles....but the
icing on the cake will be when I have my friendly discussions in the Canook
fan forums after a Canook loss.......
Canook fans so want this to be their Magical Cup Winning Season......so yea, I
wouldnt mind paying a little bit to know they will again wallow in terrible unfulfilled
hockey misery yet another year........
