Niemi has no confidence right now, Wings lost in 5 last year to Sharks all 1 goal games. Love how people are discrediting Wings because they beat phx like they were worse than LA and Chicago???? Phx only had 3 regulation losses in there last 16 games. They were one of the hottest teams going into the playoffs and the Wings embarassed them. None of the games were even close. Yeah Howard can be shaky sometimes but didnt see any of that at all in PHX series. He should build some confidence off that series. Niemi on other hand got pulled in 2 games gave up 3+ goals in 5 of 6 games against the Kings without there main offensive player. I dont see how he can have much confidence right now after get shelled by a depleted LA team. I think Wings take at least 1 of first 2 in SJ and take this series in 6.

You can look at rankings and stats all you want but you can't compare Phoenix and Chicago. Phoenix has no talent up front whatsoever while the Hawks are well rounded across the board. I say this with all due respect. The Wings are a solid team, don't mind the smack talk from me and others Canucks fans are bashed by everyone so we have to defend ourselves and push back a bit against everyone GL to your Wings
