I think the San Jose odds are a trap imho. Everyone expects Vancouver to have the customary letdown at home. I think they may cause a surprise. They are, after all, the Canucks and you can never count them out imo

I will not be surprised if Canucks win, not at all. But after playing team as bad as Ottawa tonight, I simply had to try the Sharks...

To be honest, I don´t like anything today. With DiPietro out and Lawson in the net for Islanders, there are no other dogs to pick from, as I think both Calgary and Florida could win tonight at home. I might come to like something later, possibly Dallas. But now, as I see it, I will make some money on NBA instead.

Hey, bus, where in the world did you get that? I agree Dallas is on fire, and it´s probably the best dog tonight. But after winning five straight and having played last night, this could be a letdown spot for them, as the Flames will be desperate to win one at home. Something tells me to back the home teams on a friday night, or stay away. And for some reason I really like Florida today. But it´s not a dog.

I took Montreal, but it will scare me...home dogs (minus CAL, NYI, and NJ) have been cash the past few months.

Just watching Ottawa get demoralized last night in Philly...and literally beat up with the 10 Fighting Majors in the final 5 minutes of the game...

                                      Hoping they are just exhausted...

                                      Dog wise, I took Dallas.

                                                Glad Montreal cashed...

Hopefully I can do a little better than break even tonight though!

Not very likely, if you´re on the Stars. Down 5-2 by now. Still, gl... I´m off to bed with the thought of almost 2 units made on the Isles

Boston is a good play tonight as a slight dog. Colorado lost Fleishchmann for the season and Boston has been dynamite on the road.

I´m not really sure who are you aiming at with this post. What do you mean by elimination? Is there some kind of competition between dog bettors on this forum? I guess just about anybody here can run a thread. This particular thread belongs to everybody who comes here to talk about games. There are no records being kept in here, which clearly indicates this thread is not private or competing in any way. I don´t give a heck about other peoples´units and see no reason why anybody should care (unless he wants to tail or be tailed). Just hoping we all beat the books. What I appreciate is sharing a pick, reason, opinion or feeling and having a discussion. I am also not aware of any non-dog picks in this thread. Anyhow, it is certainly great you´re up some money . GL!

From the early games, I like Chicago. Boston could be a good play, but I am not particularly fond of betting this team (they´ve burned me many times in the past).

As for dogs tonight, I'm leaning towards Rangers and Kings. I like Columbus and Wild as well but I doubt i will risk betting on them. The Blues are strong at home and San Jose are slowly getting back to winning ways and will not go easily. I won't be surprised if Minnesota wins however - they are hot at the moment and I'm not completely convinced the Sharks will be invincible at home again, just yet anyway.
