Just picks and cash

There's many reasons I choose certain picks, I take a few things in consideration and I look at their record, current form home/away, goalies, h2h, momentum - I sometimes go with that, or against it - but the main reason is to make money. If I am down a couple of units, and a good winner is coming up, make sure I will put more units on that then anyother day, otherwise you can't stand a chance, unless you are looking to make some change at the end of the day. But I need more then that, not just change. What can you do with $50 ? when your down $300 - nothing. You gotta hit it at the right time with the right amount, that you need. You see people all over the place, confused about who to pick on a certain day, whos right whos wrong, but the point is you don't know where they stand. I am here to stay, and to make money. I am not a quitter, and I hate losing. My goal is every week to end up in profit, because I need cash now, not at the end of the season. GL

Just got through reading up on New jersey. I heard about that deal on ESPN during the summer. They did the same thing the Bruins and Canucks did. So I guess New Jersey will have a down year. They won't beat many with only 20 on the roster.

It will be a very close game, Colorado is one of my favorite teams to bet on, because they always try hard, and play very well and they do win games on the road. Detroit, not really - unless its a must win situation, and thats not the case right now. However they did get the job done in the first game @home vs Anaheim, yes, but tonight it will be diffrent. I think they will get scored on, atleast 2-3 goals. I am still working on my plays for BOTH games, so check back later.

Just found your thread...good stuff. Trying to educate myself on picking NHL. No expert, but I do agree there is value on Col tonight. They have played well in Det last couple of seasons, and Det might be slightly overvalued at this point based on strong start. By the way, you have Col as 2.98...shouldn't that be 1.98?

By the way, Budaj in goal (instead of Anderson) for Avs not necessarily a bad thing. He has slightly better record and GAA of the two against Detroit.

I also had Colorado Avalanche/Detroit Red Wings (O 1.5) for 1st Period. and Colorado Avalanche/Detroit Red Wings (O 5.5) for Game. so i made some money anyway. Now on to the next game, hope for a lot of goals there

Ofcourse L.A cant score on Chris Mason. The o5.5 was a trap, the under was just due between these two, you can tell from a mile away, oh well.

I'm sorry, but I do not understand hockey. WTF did Alanta just do? They took the goalie out, so the Kings easily scored to destroy ATL +1.5. What in the hell was that? Then, they put the goalie back in with 15 seconds left. No wonder they do not have a lot of fans.

All teams do that in Hockey Blue when they are down by a goal or two, they pull the goalie out and bring in an extra forward to score to tie the game. On ice it makes a huge difference. It didn't happen this time, but it does happen! Once they tie the game, they get a point. and then they push for a win for one more.

0-5 on powerplays last night for ATL, a few posts, some crazy ass saves, I was surprised it didn't go over. But on live betting the o3.5 was paying 1.74 hopefully someone took it. Today there are many games to choose from, and I am still working on my plays.. will post shortly
