Haha wow that sounds exactly how I got into sports betting too I just got married a year ago as well and used to grind $5-$20 mtts for hours daily as well with pretty good success. Once you're married though the women usually isn't down for u sitting on your laptop for 8 hrs daily She used to encourage me to play because I bought her a new fridge and stove with some of my winnings but shed prefer I work a 9-5 now even though I know I can pay the bills with gambling

LOL - Been married 15 years. The wife just went back to school cause the kids are all grown and gone. I work nights. So I get to cap while she's studying or sleeping. When she's awake tho - it's a different story. Glad the season starts soon. The Football threads are annoying as hell with all the whiners in there.

Canucks have a legit shot this year, best team in the last 5 years for sure. Lightning also are a good sleeper this year in the East for sure.

Funny how "everyone" is on Vancouver for this year's cup. I'm the first on it also but there's so much good teams out there, it could be "any" of them (any meaning any excellent team). I mean you can't keep away the Caps, Pitts, Buffalo, Sharks.... I'll have to wait at least half the season to get a decision about this. For the meanwhile, on the paper, and from their performance last year, Vancouver is a big candidate for Stanley's but I keep thinking that others will have a greater motivation to touch it...
All this to say that Vancoucer should be a good team to tail.

I am shocked at all the NHL "experts" picking the Canucks as their cup team this year. As a fan it's definitely good to see but I don't want them to get too overhyped so expectations are through the roof this year.

I just click my posts as well and often have the same problem but only when I'm using my iPhone. Usually I just type in the site again at the top and repeat the same process and it works again.

Never had bet on NHL before the contest, and altough I went down, I had a decent month being in the top 15 three out of 4 weeks.

Just stumbled across this thread... I'm glad to find a humble no-nonsense capper who loves the sport. I just spent 6 months crafting a winning baseball system only to put the final touches on it during the last week.... leaving me no time to prep for NHL I will be tailing for sure this season while I craft NHL and NBABOL!

I have only recently learned to become a little more skillful at Sports, and really, the good thing, is I have ZERO effect on the game... I can choose to watch, or not watch... Obviously Capping tends to work better with some knowledge of events first hand, but even still not always... And when the games are over.. they are over... Lets stat capping again for the next day... Unlike Poker where another SNG/MTT is waiting to suck another minute of your life out of you....

I don't have the patience or time for MTT's much anymore these days. I can't believe how much time I used to devote to them and after awhile I realized it wasn't worth grinding for 5 hours to win like $5 profit and being two outed deep as usual. I'm from Prince George, BC.

DennisGreen, I am a recent transplant to Ontario and just set up a bwin account, I follow alot of internation hockey (khl,extraliga etc) and was looking at trying out a system i've been playing with prior to the NHL season to get a guage but but being american i am ignorant and only am used to U.S "+" "-" lines.... from what i was seeing, the odds are really GOOD on that site, like TOO good and I must not be understanding, any insight or advice when betting with "2.00" type number wagers and Euros?

I honestly could never get a full grasp on the europeon betting system either. Luckily there is an easy solution in options you can change the lines to American
