If it was your biggest bet of the year because it was your strongest play of the year I would feel more for you, but I'm guessing that's not the case judging by you hinting at a big play tomorrow as well. I would suggest, hit or miss tonight, take a break. You seem to be making plays off emotion this year, not strength like last year.
Just my opinion. Either way, best of luck, tonight, and in the future.

DG let me tell you something. When I started betting a friend of mine and I created an account with 100€ and we managed to put it into 1000€ after 6 weeks. 6 really hard weeks, studying games, making decisions and so. When we got there we decided to place 2 bets for 450€ each and we lost both. Then back down to 100 again...we bet on 2 great soccer teams who were both playing at home and they drew..shit happens. But it was a really bad picking from us as we threw away a huge effort from 6 weeks in 2 minutes...But we trusted in ourselves we knew we could bounce back and we did it. We still had a hundred left and after calming down we started to do the same as before 50€ bets, little by little, it's gambling..always a toss up..regardless how good you are.

I do think you might be one of the best hockey cappers in this forum and I do believe you will bounce back and end up the season winning. But stay calm, dont feel you have to hit every pick you do. You wont let anyone down as it's everyone final choice to tail or not.

I really hope I'll be reading this thread in 2 weeks time and you are up 1000$.

Yup you are exactly right. Wasn't close to my most confident bet of the year. Just a stupid emotional bet. The under and the Rangers were the plays in this one.
