With Toews back and needing a win to get into a playoff spot i guess they will hammer Ottawa.

Havent looked into the game that much but my initial pick was for CHI today. Ott has been bad as of late and if Toews is coming back he will definately spark some enegry.

Why is the DET ML only -117? Datsyuk and Fippula? Didnt we all witness a horrible performance from the flames 2 nights ago? I think they have enough fire power to still take this one down.

Also, the over in the Van game might be a play because leftwinglock is showing schneider getting the start over Luongo and Khabibulin in net for EDM as well.

Thoughts?

Good value with DET. I expect a bounce back game from Howard.

As for VAN, don't underrate Schneider, he's a legit prospect and is the future of that team in net. Then again, depending on Khabibulin's blood alcohol level, he could give up 6.

I think another VAN TT is a safe bet, being a push at the very least.

5dimes is putting the Van TT at 3.5. I really dont like betting 3 (even though i always do) let alone 3.5. Schneider has had a decent season but khabibulin not so much. I like Van for this game but not at -274. I find that line extremely high for hockey. Im trying to make sense of this game. I did go over already though.

I know parlays are a bad idea, but CHI, DET, and VAN seem to be a lock. I'm even tempted to add ATL, because I don't see the Leafs winning 2 in a row especially on a back to back.

As LA showed us last night at -170 against NSH on a back to back, this game isn't predictable.

It'd be surprising if VAN didn't put up 4 against EDM but that's a huge number.

i agree, just like the other night when they went up 3-0 real quick in the beginning of the 2nd i and failed to get the 4th for the TT win. I just think betting TT o3.5 goals in hockey is a tough thing to do.

I am always a little weary betting a team after a win on back to back nights. The mentality changes, probably to less risky and more defensive minded. Good luck though.

What does anyone think of Florida TT over 2.5?

Panthers average over 3 per game at home while Canes concede over 3 away from home.
Although the main reason I like this is because Peters is in net and he is simply awful with a 3.88 gaa and .867 save%, love betting against that guy!!

I was looking at Panthers team total Stevie it looks good with Peters in for Carolina. I just didn't trust Floridas scoring enough to play it.

Yea thats my worry on it, I was surprised to see their average over 3 to be honest as I dont class them as great attacking team.
Just Peters is soooo bad lol. Although now i've said that, watch Peters with a 45 save shutout tonight haha.

Yea makes no sense.
I know he aint amazing (although he is in comparison), and I dont know the cap space etc but its crazy that Michael Leighton can clear waivers and end up playing for the Adirondack Phantoms while Peters is still on an NHL roster.
