looking at lucky-i placed this wager on feb 25th at odds of 7/1. ill be completely honest and tell you that at first glance i thought the horses name was "looking at lucy". my cat is named lucy so of course i dropped some $. turns out the horse might have a shot....go figure.

Dublin-my wife's irish and liked the name-i liked the odds of 11/1

caracortado-17/1 took a tip from the sbr horse racing forum(check it out-couple good posters there)

Truth be told the triple crown is pretty much the only 3 thoroughbred races i bet on in any given year. i much prefer the sulky racing but i do get caught up in all the pomp and circumstance that is The Triple Crown

in the parlay(s) of the day category ill take the mariners ml(+133) coupled with the under(now 7(-135) but i got it earlier for 6.5(+110)) in the cards/giants game. i got a few plays in earlier with seattle (+112) and find myself concerned with the way the line is swinging. but honestly now, do you think the wsox cans top the bleeding that quickly with floyd hurling tonight? crypes i hope not but someone obviously does....+ now im hearing rain. 2team palray odds(+306)

another play ive grown particularly fond of:
phils rl-philly does well against the d-backs plus the snakes arent exactly on fire at the moment
cards/giants under 7-with garcia/lincecum i see another pitchers duel ala yesterdays rockies/nats game. went with a substancial single wager on this one too...
lad/nats over 10-everytime these 2 teams meet its a slugfest. with marquis sporting a 20.5 era i could see easily see this hitting the over.

wow, thank god for the single wager on the cards/giants under(6.5 & 7)
was able to keep my head above water and finish in the black last night despite most of my picks completely "chit pant".
with the bankroll increased exponentially this past week i must try to practice a lil self control with my picks and not hit everything that looks nice/bright/shiny on paper.

heres to stl and sf keeping it a low scorer today cashing the 2 teamer and the stl/sf under play almost made me forget the mariners blowing a 2 run lead in the bottom of the 9th almost.

after the 9 windows i did today in stucco/plaster i feel like chit quite hoenstly. no way am i feeling up to starting agaisnt the sox. expect me to be riding the pine by the 5th inning. unlike pete rose ill bet against my own team cause its all about the benjamins, right?

...so im sitting there in the top of the 9th with the phils down 4-1. the freak gets yanked with one on and 1 out. in comes the mel gibson looking mother phucker with a tail. is anyone here old enough to remember when tails were in? it was 19 phucking 86, dude. anyway....that prick proceeds to load the bases with 2 outs. goes 3-2 to jason werth who lofts one just fair to basically clear the bases and destroyed my under and my parlay.

then....i figured this may be the last time this season to get in on the caps 1st period over insanity that it has become. dumped my largest wager to date on it.
