    Canada's Picks
    I am back in Vancouver!

Away for six years working across Asia, but never far from hockey.

The best hockey was the Olympics. The right Team won!
Some of you may remember all of the money I made you.

    Let's do it again!

Is it me, or do they books just not understand hockey.

Let me first enlighten you with my picks, which I play.

Wings, Vancouver and carolin/atlanta under 6.5

Home team early games, any sport, disavantage

Also leaning toward TO as a long shot.

I am sure it is going to work out that way but I think I am gonna go for Philly ML due to the fact I am only working off points right now and the SBR points book only allows o/u and ml's so I am alittle screwed. But BOL and hope so see you around!

3-1 Sunday after throwing some of my winnings on TO.

Sundays are always good to play the refs in basketball.

Monday has two games I am all over.

OV gets it going and Turco is a lonley man taking some locker room heat. Took Washington spread -1.5 even

Leaning towards under 6.5 as it will be a 4-1 game. Hell, that's my third bet.

Second has Columbus playing for nothing a long way from home. Took LA -.5 regulation -108

You can make your seven picks when the spots fill up.

You can make them all in one day or over a week.

They will be rated plays to prevent ties.

Each week the field will be cut in half.

                  there can only be One!!

It will be the same as the NHL conference playoff bracket.

16 teams paired into 8 head to head matchups.

each person will get seven rated picks a week.

8 winners advance to quarterfinal, 8 are out.

                          Then semi-finals, and finals.

It will take four weeks, with four rounds.

It belonged to some wanker who never signed on, and didn't do it justice.

It was a dealbreaker for me to return to SBR as someone scooped my old name.

Like hell it is, that's the chant that costed us the juniors. The chant was sponsored by Pepsi, an AMERICAN company. Only reason we won the Olympics is because nobody at the games in Van was stupid enough to chant it.

Haha yeah that chant was retarded. I didn't hear it once in the Olympics and glad I didn't because it was a joke.

Not sure which events you went to, but I heard it twice, once at swiss game and once short track. Not very enthusiastically though. And some pople near me tried to get it going at finland and Germany withou success.

You're right though, it is retarded, but catchy.

Broke even yesterday, which means the book won money. Dal/Wash under was a heartbreaker as it was an over lock once they started taking penalties. I doubled on the under, but I bought it up to seven for a push. I will count that as a loss as I lost the first part.

LA game was over in the first period, and then it was an early night bringing the last two days to 4-2, and 3-1 in NBA. I am not like others who take games like SJ over the NYI in SJ. All risk, little return.

big return tonight as I am taking the leafs as they having been playing much better of late, and Boston will be without Savard tonight. The Bruins having been playing well, but TO will win if they can stay out of the box. They could have won the Philly game without those entertaining penalties. At +115, TO is worth the risk.

My second pick is a highly motivated Vancouver team coming to the end of a long road trip. Vancouver has dominated Colorado, and tonight will be no different. Vamcouver will be trying hard to get ahead early, and avoid the trend to battle back. Vancouver is clicking.

My last pick is TB in Montreal. TB can give up a lot of goals, and they can score them. The key here is Montreal returning home after a long trip west. All of you who played tier hockey know what happens when you return home after a long trip, and daily life ruins your focus. Teams are now starting to return home and have players stay in hotels for the first game. TB at +125. Not Montreal. Plus, many TB players are from Montreal. Lecalveliar, and st loius, even stamkos should have people traveling from his hometown to watch him play. TB more native Quebers than Montreal.

                                        Getting wordy, word!

2 out of three aint bad with Vancouver and Toronto fighting back, and TB laying an egg.

                                              6-3 the last three days

                                              Keep it going tomorrow.

Still a couple spots left for the tourney.

Lost my write-up for today's games for some unknown computer reason, so I'll give you the skinny on today's crappy games that I am playing to impove on 6-3 winnings this week.

NJ/NYR will probably end up on 5 for a push, but I am betting that it's over as both teams will want to open it up to get their stagnent offenses going, and NYR take too many penalties for their average PK. I seldom take over/under as it is really like flipping a coin most games as penalties and drive or lack thereof can foil any trends. Either Over or under, this game is worth taking with todays board. I am betting over! Over -115 Pinnacle

Chi has been waiting 3 days to get the taste out of their egg against detroit, which I called. Today, Chi destroys LA, as LA had an easy go last game, and are not hungry heading east. La is a good road team, but the east can mess with western team, especially the first game. LA won all 5 games on their last north east road trip, and will take this game lightly against a pissed off chi team. Chi -1 pinnacle 103 as insurance, but I see blowout, or at least an empty net goal.

Carolina has been playing well, but it's carolina! They are who we know they are, out of the playoffs. Wash has got to be shaking their heads still after that collapse in the Dalas game. I always take the hungrier team, and Wash is starving as they have only lost 3 games at home, and two in a row is not happening. Wash also seems to get a lot of empty net goals. Took Wash -1.5 +111 Pinnacle.

                                                    BOL all!

Join the tourney, and learn a few things!

TB more native Quebers than Montreal.
                                                      who knew?

Late fourth pick on vancouver as the payout was worth the risk. Might be a throw-away, but i am betting that they want to end this road trip with a bang. I live in Vancouver, and I heard there were some promises made to the players if they win tonight. Still trying to find out what! You didn't hear this here though.
