I have season tickets. I know and I really like those guys for the US, but Drew Doughty is probably my favorite King.

Doughty, Simmonds, and Richardson.

I'm a die hard Kings fan.. seeing them win a Cup is probably one of my Top 5 goals in life..

Well their defense core isn't THAT solid on paper.. Ryan Suter might be the best all around defenseman. Ryan Whitney and Tim Gleason were late additions and are more defensive oriented.. Had the U.S. had Paul Martin it would significantly upgrade their defense but they dont have him.

Jack Johnson is still trying to figure things out on a high level, but has SICK skill... Probably the most talented US defenseman.. But like I said he hasn't really figured things out against top competition.. Most likely because in Michigan they just let him run around and let his skill take him. Michigan didn't necessarily gear him for the next level.

Erik Johnson played on the same World Junior team as Jack. He's pretty solid all around, but has been plagued by injuries so far in his career.

Brian Rafalski is a seasoned veteran.. He's a good puck mover and has been all his career. He can get the puck up ice, but is just aging and isn't as good as he once was.. But still good..

Brooks Orpik is just your classic shut down defenseman.

What I think everyone is forgetting is that the result Canada had against the Swiss really doesn't effect this matchup. Obviously Canada has trouble adapting to Switzerland's style as noted with the 2-0 Swiss win at the 2006 Olympics. Canada/US play similar style and matchup for matchup Canada has a far superior team. I haven't made a play yet, but most likely it'll be a pure Canada victory.
