i am really dissapointed with team Russia. they should have beat Slovakia by at least 2.
i am certain the bookies had some inside info on Russia. they probably had a huge drinking party the night before. they are just not playing hard enough. where is all the offensive quickness

I'm ****ed.

From 250 to 1300 yesterday. 5-0 in the first days.

4 bets today: Women USA -6.5. CAN -4.5... then... RUS (half bankroll left) -2.5,and to be "safe" RUS reg.time (the other half). Lost all 4 bets today, wich I tought were all ALMOST locks.... piss me off so bad

Edit: Yeah, I'm at zero.

Slovak was the play. That line was a "gift" at 2.5 or so you thought. Sometimes if you sit back and actually think for a second, you wont be part of majority losing money. Hit on Slovakia + the points and the under. Word to the wise, its not that hard if you just think sometimes.

Europian teams are playing very good defense at these small court's, thats why the games should be though. Slovakia looks very great at this Olympic tournament,i like Marian very well.

am I required to give you my plays? Even if I did post it I would have been faded. I also don't have time to sit at a screen and keep people updated with my picks. Most of you guys/girls have been gambling for a while, why on earth would Russia only be getting 2.5? against a team who most thought wasn't good enough, or tired or drained or whatever other words were used?

Backstreets, while I enjoy and capitalize on a lot of the picks discussed here, I don't expect any of you, including you, backstreets, to "give" your picks. My final decision is up to me.

But that being said, no you are not required to give your picks. But when the game is done, when you have to give your opinion, maybe you should express that opinion in a better way that you just did it.

"It'S not that hard" is a bit... I don't think I have to tell you.

funny that you come out and say this at the end of the game. where were you this whole time. i didnt see you post and say that Slovakia was the play.

now that the game is over anyone can say that they had 100K on Slovakia moneline and just made a shitload of money. why dont you post some plays before the game and then run your mouth if you win.

Russians, especially Ovechkin looked really pissed during the handshake. I think they will come out flying in the next game. if i get the same line of -2.5 against the Chezhs i am taking it. Russians are rolyally pissed and will take it out on anyone who they play next.

I'm not saying anything of the kind or "running my mouth". I put 25 bucks on each of them. If you want me to start posting my plays or leans or whatever I will try to do so when I have some time. But don't get all bitchy about losing money. What I say or play should have no bearing on what YOU do with YOUR own money. nobody said i was looking for picks on this site. i only put 30$ on Russia -2.5 as i said way before the game even started.
if you are so busy how come you are all up in this thread discussing your brilliant picks after the game anyway

Backstreets, come on, first, stop talking about you don't have any time to lose talking on the internet. The fact that you read/answer shows that you care at least a little bit. If it's how you do it, fine - but I don't understand why you'd be here.

Second, I like to know about other people's thoughts, especially when it comes from some experienced cappers. Sometimes I go against, sometimes, not. It's why I'm here. By doing so, I betted 4 games by myself at the start of the Olympics - then, by reading some things I saw here I changed my mind on the fifth game and won a lot... because what I read was toughtful.

If you'd think by yourself without caring about anyone else, you wouldn't be here at all - be consequent.

I don't need that board to bet on a game. But sometimes, it gives me some information that maybe I couldn't get by myself.

Anyway. It's easy to tell "it was easy to bet this way... If you would think about it... blablabla"... as if I didn't think about it. Sometimes things don't go the way we think it goes. That'S all. It's just so easy to say after the game is finished.

Russia could have scored 2 more goals in the first and I don't think that right now I'd be typing this. You'd be in your bed, night's done and that'S all. This is gambling - it happens, or not.

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that. This guy never mentioned the mere thought of taking Slovakia. Just suspicion and a verdict.... to take Russia!

Gotta love the shit talkers that come from the shadows and boast, even though their real pick is right there on page 2 and indicates they took a fall with the rest of us.

I'm with whoever said they can't wait for the NHL to come back. Even though asking -3 from THAT team was too good to be true, I went rather big (8x) and paid for it. I'm retiring from the Olympics now. Thanks Russia and Slovakia.
