Washington should bulldoze over florida quite easily today, but im not feelin the love with the devils/leafs game... the devils are too random (like montreal) lately with their wins and losses. still, its amazing that the odds so strongly favor the devils...btw yesterday was a horrible night and all of the favorites lost

hey DG, what do you think about Buf/Bos under 1.5 first period at -125. both are low scoring first period teams and also dont give up too many goals in 1st. boston has had much trouble scoring lately and Buf is not shining either. the game total is set at 5 as well.

In save percentage stats department we also have the number one goalie in the league (Miller) going against number five (Rask).

this one looks too good to pass up in my humble opinion

well the total is set at 5 which is kinda low. i wouldnt bet under when the total is less than 5.5. however the 1st period looks really good in my opinion.

Florida has been an under machine lately going 8-2 for the under in their last 10 and the Caps have been an over machine going 7-1-2 for the over in their last 10. I think that's the reason the juice is so low on this one. 3 of 4 meetings this year have gone over and over by a lot with goal totals of 9, 8 and 11 goals. Expect more of the same tonight. Vokoun and Neuvirth are the confirmed starters and as hot as Vokoun has been expect the Caps to get to him tonight and Neuvirth should return to his usual sketchy self tonight.

The Devils are 7-17 for the under on one days rest and the Leafs are 3-10 for the under on two days rest. Both teams have struggled to score lately as the Leafs are averaging 2.2 goals a game over their last 10 and the Devils only 1.5 goals a game in their last 10. The Leafs know they have to play a smart defensive game to have a shot at winning this one so look for a low scoring game.

I am with you on Toronto but I just dont know about Washington. Vokoun has been playing lights out and when that guy is in the zone, he can stop anyone. I know Neuvirth sucks but he played pretty good the last game. I know that theoretically they should cover 6 but i just dont like going against hot goalies on overs.
why do you think that Washington will get 4-5 past Vokoun? just going on history?
