Again boys.. this isn't for the undisciplined.. if we stay true to our system we always come out on top.

It isn't about + or - at the end of the night. It's about + or - at the end of the month. Do it my way and we'll always be winning on the month.
    Not sure man.
If I chase Wings next game and lose I'll be down to my final couple bets....hard with a low BR.
Gotta say this one stung tonight and lost my Under in Washington.
Last night was contemplating Wings +1/2 / Caps +1 and 2 hoops plays that won....woulda been on the plus side instead of down 3 units tonight.
But was 0-4 on parlays this week so stayed away.

But I'm willing to try new things as after nearly 3 years I haven't figured how to win.
At this point I'm about to say I'm going in hard or not at all...you get tired of being in the same place...or gradually lower month after month.
Time to take your philosophy of "scared $ don't win" into action.

How have the past couple days gone for you man? I haven't been around much. Did you recoup your losses?

It takes big balls to do this chase thing. It pays off but you gotta be disciplined!

I only bet on NHL to supplement my bankroll. Let me make that clear.

I don't think this is a good sport to bet on if you aren't betting on other sports. Just my personal opinion. The lines are too wacky and the game is way too finicky.

How do you really "handicap" a hockey game anyway? I look at as much matchup analysis, trends, recent stats, injuries etc as anyone else does, but at the end of the day I don't have a model. I'm throwing darts just like everyone else with no model.

I have found a way to win money on NHL in the long term. It works for me. I bet a game a night. If it wins, I bet the same amount on the next game. If it loses, I usually double up on the next game. I will keep doing this until I win a game. This strategy works for me because I have a bankroll to sustain the losses. And there will always be losses.

If I did not have the bankroll to sustain the losses and come back twice as hard, I would NOT bet on NHL. PERIOD.

I feel bad for anyone who may have taken my advice before. I never properly explained my reasoning for doing it this way. I would discourage anyone interested in following me who can't sustain some serious losses. Frankly, it's gets disgusting. Just go back and read this thread. If you can't afford to bet 10x your normal bet on a random ass January NHL game, then DON'T DO IT!

I realize you're all big boys. You don't need me to tell you what you can or can't do.
