FYI - they cancelled it a few minutes ago...quickly put in -1 (+110) before it goes to like +100 soon...I would think.

I may just play 3 bets tonight...hate that -150 juice for Ottawa TT Under...just afraid that Rangers lose 3-2...they are stronger on the road than at home.

Z, the Wild losing last night stabbed two of my plays so I wouldnt mind doing some pay back to them tonight lol and the Wings do seem to be playing better in fact in fact if they win tonight they would be leading the Eastern!!! Their PP has been the backbone of the goal scoring so it would be worth checking how the Wild handle it and how many they give up. The Wings lines are always inflated similar to San Jose so I dont play them to much. Hope that helps!

I just checked, Wild are only giving up an average of 2 PP's per game over their last 6 and their PK is pretty good - 8^th @ 83%. During that 6 games they faced Hawks/Pitt/Nash too so that says something. The others were Buf/Ari/Colu so perhaps a bit less. Wings backup goal tender has been good

I'm thinking Minnesota but I don't follow that much to those two teams so I don't feel like throwing money on them. I saw Wings scored powerplay goals vs sucky Sabres, can't be too proud of that.

All I know is BUF usually doesn't score more than a goal or less per game and here they've put 4 in (3 in the 1st frame).

In last 8 home starts, he has surrendered 2 goals or less 7 times...but Preds offense has been clicking all year...does that change with Rinne out?

Mrazek had a bad game, he was playing at the level of competition IMO. Every goalie has an let down game, I honestly don't think it'll be an repeat this evening. Dubnyk is in goal for Wild. I am backing Detroit's o2 1/2 here, as their last 7 wins they scored 3+ goals, and their 3 losses had 2 or fewer goals. I believe Detroit will get back on track here.

So why are you doing this parlay? Looks tough to win even 3 of these...especially Ottawa -1...why not Ottawa +1 and Stars ML for a better chance to hit? I shouldn't be questioning as I have done terribly with parlays lately - tonight I have Detroit / Chicago parlay.

There is no point in risking 1 Dollar to get like 10 Dollars out of it by parlaying chalky +1 lines so I took -1 for better odds. If they win by a goal, it's still a push and no loss. I normally don't parlay NHL matches and I don't think this one will even win, it's really a long shot and more a fun thing to follow to while watching tonight matches since I probably won't make any other (proper) bet. Personally I don't see any value in +1 lines. Sure +1.5 to cover the loss by a goal, but why +1? If you think your team will win, go with ML. If you are not confident enough, don't lay money on it rather than going with +1. Might be my thinking but if there is a huge favorite and odds for a dog are high, I think the most common result is a surprise win by a dog or a blowout win for the favorite thus making ML a value bet and +1 pointless.

I have to say Z the whole point of parlays is putting risk together for better value so why risk it up further with difficult plays? If you hit a parlay paying 2+ each day wouldnt you be rather cheerful? If
you put together dog parlays with -1.5 etc etc you hit 1 a week and go through mental torture. To me its not a stable way to play and get compensated for the time put in. Just my opinion, I dont know how
much you bet or how often and clearly that impacts big on what Ive said. If its for fun then yeah fuxk it and give it a go. Hope that helps

I normally bet only singles and I try to avoid totals as I'm awful with those (not team totals though). If I do parlays, it's usually Euro hockey as shown above. For NHL I only bet singles and usually that's a ML winner, sometimes team totals (Buffalo hehe).

Only 2 of their 14 home wins have been by 1 goal.

I parlay game results (win/loss) because in my view I have a clearer view on motivation ie team wants/needs to win this game etc etc. That isnt the case in totals, no team hits the ice saying we need to go over 5.5 tonight!!! lol However, I use data/streaks/results to enter totals plays and I do use parlays to what I call “promote” or mature the opportunity. What I mean by that is if I feel a team is likely to go over during the course of the next two games I will parlay them with another team on the same risk profile. It means if they go both go down its cost me 50% less and I have promoted them to a better risk situation which I will then smash. I do the same for games – see my post yesterday

In summary to really betsuccessfully you must look beyond the single game today and project over the next game or more likely two
