Tampa and Chicago game didn't turn out as expected, Chicago saw slow and didn't generate enough shots. Florida played alright and Luongo played good. Thanks to Pens (Hawaii Hockey) and the Crosby show they easily hit.

New York Islanders @ Carolina: Islanders 2.5 TT Over


With two way forward J. Staal on IR they will not be able to contain Islanders for 60 minutes. I'm not expecting Ward's to save them either.


First line of Islander will dominate in this game, I'm expecting at least 2 goal from this line tonight. Tavares plays well against this team.


Goalies:
Ward: He is past he's prime. I believe that Khudobin is the future of this club. Last season Ward looked way of his game.

I really like the TT pick with Islanders.
Unless Ward plays on his head... Isles should easily score 3-4.
I would be a little weary if it was a road game for Hurricanes since they would probably play more defensive, but I'm banking on them trying to play a more entertaining game in front of their home crowd, which will play to Islanders advantage.

Yeah, I have the same feeling. I don't think ward can contain the islanders.... Carolina don't want to be all "New Jersey" like in the home debut, they will play penguins style minus the goals. 4 - 2 win for the Islander tonight.

Penguins had really explosive speed in the home opening. Until they fail to score, I will keep them on this list.
With two high scoring lines surely they should be able to score 3 or more against a shakey Bernier. This type of games are highly entertaining ones, so recommending watching this tonight.

Goalie Analysis: Bernier will be in net tonight, he's number against penguins aren't good. He might have some nerves as he's performance against Montreal was questionable.

Montreal @ Philadelphia: Philadelphia Over 2.5 TT


Philadelphia wants to win tonight, they don't want the same thing that happened last season.
They will give it all tonight. To win they will need to score more then 3 or more goals.


Flyers shot 39 shot last game and should probably have won the game if Mason was decent in goal.

Giroux's line must perform well, and I believe they will, especially with Raffl on the LW.
I like flyers depth with forwards, Line 1, 2 and 3 should be able to score.
Weaver is not a good defense-men, so i'm expecting a couple of minus on him.

Flyers PP looked good against New Jersey, so hopefully they can continue that at home.

Goalie Analysis: Price, away game is quite noticeble not as good as home. Flyers home crowd sure will try and help Flyers get Montreal players off their game and referes to take extra penalities on Montreal.

Giroux, Voracek, Streit, Del Zotto, Raffl, Lecavalier

I'm leaning here, mostly due to the fact that the line is +110 for more then 2.5 goals tt. Rangers has normally been quite good at scoring vs Bobrovsky in net.
This line is wrong, so I will play it.

Goalie Analysis: S. Bobrovsky is playing quite poorly against Rangers.

Edmonton @ Vancouver: Vancouver Over 2.5 TT, Over 3.5 TT

Vancouver looked really good against Calgary, Sedin twins played really well. It will continue tonight. Last Edmonton game they looked flat. Edmonton's defense is really poor, and this is expected. The only way they will survive is if they get more support from Center, but they are lacking depth in the Center position, until they fix this or add more Defense, they will leak goals.

Goalie Analysis: Fasth is a young promising goalie, however without the support he can't stop a motivated Canucks tonight.

Seems to be an easy one. Sharks are playing with attitude, first game at home, Jets should be an easy win.

Goalie Analysis: Pavelec is not good enough to stop the sharks offense. He had alright performance against Arizona but Sharks is another level of offense.

Colorado @ Boston: Colorado Over 2.5 TT


Colorado has lost first two games, so they will play for a win today. Last games against Wild was good, and they should have scored a couple of times. However they need to start going to the net and play harder. This is true especially playing against Boston.


Colorado has a great lineup offensively this year and they should score once they find their game and start playing with a bit more passion (Roy would make sure they perform today).


Historically the teams don't play many overs, however both teams failed to score last game so they will go offensively.


Boston's defense is not looking too good in the start, loosing Boychuck is a big minus, might cost them the Stanley cup final this year.

The reason I'm choosing Colorado is due to the juice, odds 2.45 for over 2.5 is good enough to play.


Goalie Analysis: Rask hasn't started great, however this goalie at home don't really have many weaknesses. At home he is probably the best goalie in the league, however I'm counting that Colorado will play with a lot of fighting spirit tonight. He is also fantastic in day games.

I believe this happens tonight. Columbus is overperforming and will lose tonight.

Dallas comes with 2 loses and will play hard tonight.

Goalie Analysis: Bobrovsky has dominated the stars, however tonight I believe the Stars will be too much for him to handle.

I can't believe Flyers manage to fek up a 3 - 0 lead to loose it in SO against Montreal.Nevertheless the over 2.5 hit in that game so it's all good.
They will be fairly pissed off, and this is only good for Flyers. I'm sure nobody wants to piss off Berube.

Anaheim is not looking so solid in defense.

Lecavalier is injured but I think he is washed up anyway so getting in Pierre-Édouard Bellemare is better for speed.
