Hi Guys,

I'm a long time hockey fan but very new at getting into betting on the NHL. I know the game well and so I thought maybe I could make a bit of cash while enjoying the sport. I've read your thread on the home chase and I think it makes lot of sense for a lot of teams. I have a question and I hope it's not too much of a noob question: When I make a bet (A, B, or C), and the home team is not a dog, am I placing one on the -0.5 or the -1.5?

No, Rangers have a 4 game home stance. They won their first game (A bet) so since they have 3 more home games we can double dip and start over with the Rangers. This would be like a (AA Bet, or second serve).

Hey Guys played the C Bet with Florida, but wasn't' really confident. Lost big... The losses this system occurred thus far seem like they could be fixed. 1st loss Carolina would of won getting goals. Second loss Buffalo, worst team in league. Florida was already on the triple dip this series, but it's Florida so how could we would eliminate them? Maybe playing against them after they win, many ways to look at this, but they lost three straight against the spread. I guess they fall into another system now, . The other home system running on the home stretch misses out on a lot of wins by not playing the games, they only play an A bet if it's -150. Something to ponder.... Their is alot of wins to gain in this system, if we can some how weed out these losses.

I agree, I think the teams at .400 and .500 will get their wins at home or atleast be in the game a lose by a goal if there a dog. I'm going to keep it the same for now and make adjustments for next year.

Apart from this system which I think has good potential. I was thinking of fading weak teams on the runline and maybe implementing some of this system. As an example look at buffalo's upcoming schedule lol. I think I may start the fade tonight but after that, they're away for 3 games against top tier teams. Haven't back tested it yet but I'd like your opinion.

Yeah, I agree with fading Buffalo on the puck line, that's the only way to play them because you will lay high juice other wise. Might as well win over your bet, i'm sure they'll lose one game by two goals. If not your only losing what you bet. Sucks though when they lose by a goal. I'm going to look at them now... so much action already today, think i'm staying away from Carolina for a while with both their goalies out.

Don't think your high jacking at all, always looking to improve and make this worth our while!

Looking at your next plays, I'm wondering why you haven't listed the Bruins (A bet) hosting the Panthers, the Canes (A bet) vs. Islanders, or the Capitals (A bet) hosting the Wild. (It also appears that you didn't have the Caps (A bet) vs. Islanders listed from a few nights ago either).
Are they not listed because you're not playing them, or am I doing something wrong with the system?

The Bruins A Bet was against Dallas... they lost so onto the B Bet. The Canes is a Second Serve as the already won their A Bet vs the Flyers and the Caps A Bet was already won when they beat Flordia on Saturday night, series over.
