Business as usual, patience, disciple and perseverance. I know these hockey systems are hot and some times these bets seem like they are just going to win super easy like it did today. The most important thing in sports investing though is bankroll management. Make it a business and you will have a bright future.Comment -

#110JM Disciple, just had a quick question about this and other JM systems. First and foremost, thanks for all the work you put in to help all of us out-it's people like you and Walco that truly make this forum great! I remember you mentioned earlier in a thread about using 4 different systems or something. Which other systems are you using, and are they all for hockey or the other sports as well? Are you using JM's NFL and NBA systems as well? I've only ever used his MLB and NBA systems, and they were pretty decent. Just wanted to see what other ones you are using and would recommend. Thanks again for all you do, and looking forward to more plays/advice.Comment -

Systems I follow
Diamond Dog sports Football
Diamond Dog Sports Basketball
Wallco Gold *.500 filter
John Morrison NHL (obviously) .500 filter *(did not bet any of these games today)
NHL HOME GAME CHASE *(Its on covers ran by Danrules) also .500 filter
John Morrison Road system *no filters
Crusher under service plays *all sports
Wallco Chase110
I bet each game to win 1unit with all of these systems running you can have a lot of bets on the same day when these systems get to full swing. If I have a winning day I will bet all games to win 1unit the following day as well even if its B C or D bets. Unless I have a losing day my bet size stays to win 1u on each bet. If systems overlap just cancel both sides. If systems overlap in hockey or MLB I will play one PL and other one ML. The .500 filter is basically avoiding any teams under .500 or losing record; only for hockey though since spreads are more important in NBA.
Whenever I have a losing day, say I had 10 bets and lose 6 of them. With my labby line starting on the day it would be
Starting line:
10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10
After winning 4 and losing 6 games.
10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-22-22-22-22-22-22
Than I average out the line:
14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14-14
The next day if I have ten bets again I will bet each one to win $28. If for example you are up $1,000 on the year before that losing day and that losing day gives you -$50 and makes you up only $950 on the year going into the next day. As soon as you reach your peak profit of $1,001 you reset your labby line.
Ive had one hell of a month with all these systems and hopefully this month hard work continues to reap the rewards.
Good Luck to you sir .Comment -

#114Thank you for explaining everything JMD! Just so I understand correctly, basically if your bankroll increases at all, you reset the labby and start over? Say for instance your balance is $1000, and after all the bets for the day your new balance is $1001-this constitutes a winning day, so you start over? Or do you only start over once you've gained 1 unit (in this case we'll just assume that's $10)? Of course if you lose you change the labby numbers accordingly, basically getting the avg for the bets you bet all games the next day for the same amount, regardless of what level of chase they are on (B, C, D, etc)? Just making sure I'm understanding everything correctly-I've been looking for a better labby system than the one I currently utilize!Comment -

#115And also, do you play each of the capper's plays, no matter the rating? For instance, diamond dog usually has several different plays, both sides and totals, and all are rated differently. Do you still play all of them and for the same amount? And you only play the 'unders' of the crusher plays (or you just meant from the service play section)? So a typical day for you is anywhere from 10 to 20 (or in some instances 30 or more) plays a day? Once again I appreciate your advice on this, this will enhance what I was already doing to a much higher and more profitable extent!
And lastly, how long have you been using these systems together, and how many units in the black are you?Comment -

#117Short answer is yes you laid out pretty much how I play. On Saturday I added a few of my own plays and had a total of 35 plays for the day. Yes, if my max bankroll was $1,000 and I won a $1 the next day my bankroll is $1,001 I will continue to bet $10 per game. Remember its bet to win $10 per game not risk. Regardless if play is A b c d e f g etc. I will use my labby to determine the amount. If all the plays are rated Z and I have fresh labby line I am still betting to win 1u.
Yesterday I had less plays and lost $1 on Saturday and $38 on Sunday. I still made $191 on the week with this strategy with a unit size of $20, so almost 10 units. My goal is just to win 5units a week, but I have been averaging $43 a day, so just over 2u. Last season for MLB I lost a lot. This is a newer strategy for me. I am up since the 3rd just under $1,300.
Yesterday I bet all the games to win $28 but ended up losing $16 on the day, so 3 straight losing days due to the juice from hockey. Today I am not playing crusher to minimize my plays a little bit in efforts to keep it between 10-15 plays. Today I have a total of 12 plays. My labby was $20 x 17#s after averaging out my losses last night; however, with 12 plays today I need 24#s on my line, so I take the $340 in play ($20x17) and divide it by 24. Gives me $13 x 24#s. i am betting to win $26 on all the games today besides crushers. I think his hot streak is coming to an end. So all systems will be to win $26.
I noticed for Wallco gold the Buff/SJS game kinda sucks cause I have SJS ML (-402) yes I did bet ml! vs buff Even +1.5. So if sharks win by 2 or more I break even on this game. If sharks win by 1 than I win both. I think they will win by like 6+ goals today, but who knows.... I most likely will not make any money on this game.
Make sense?Comment -

#120How many units would you recommend as a starting bankroll for this system-100 or 150 or more? Yes JM it makes complete sense-you spelled out everything perfectly. I thought I understood it correctly but just wanted to make sure. I suppose the basic premise is transferring all risk among several different systems in one synonymous labby rather than doing them all separately. As long as the services hit over 50% of their plays then it'll work. I know your system is new as you have just started doing them all together like this, but have you thought about eventually changing the unit size or utilizing a separate labby based on the level of the play? The reason I ask is because as you know the later you get in the chase the higher % it has of hitting. I suppose if you keep it like how you have it now though the higher winning % plays will help balance out the regular plays to make the overall winning % over 50%. Just thinking out loud here-not recommending any changes or anything, as what you have going now is working amazingly well my friend! I love talking strategies and systems, as we can always work together to help each other win more from the bookies! Thanks again for the information/advice buddy, looking forward to more discussion and wisdom!Comment -

#121First I would like to say, these are not my personal picks but system picks. If you look at first 2 post you will see the schedule.
2nd yes, I have thought about doing different sizes for different systems. To maximize my profit in the future I will probably run separate labby lines for different systems and not clear it every time I reach my max. I think its important to have a stop loss as well. Say if you drop 30% than start a fresh line and readjust your unit size. Ive seen several people lose their roll in MLB when lines get heavy and they get so emotional they dont reset their lines hoping for a winning streak. Its a marathon not a sprint.
For time being I am very happy with the results I am getting, so I will continue to do it this way. As a bankroll for hockey I would always recommend 200 units because juice is so heavy; sharks for example is -430 at my book. I have little more than 5u at risk on them. Most of my bets are over 2.5-5u risk to win just little over 2u today.
I do not think the further you go in A B C levels the better your chance of winning. I would have to see a full back test to believe that. I do not what you mean though, I just dont think that is true for hockey. I know its true for NBA. If you are trying to maximize profits I would do hockey labby as one line and NBA as another. NBA you can stick up to 4% on your line cause there is no juice, I would go a little lower maybe 3% over 4#s or whatever. Hockey a conservative approach would be 1% on your line, but I like my way. My book has a minimum of $20 bet so my unit size is $20. I would probably do $10 for hockey if I could and $20 for NBA just cause NBA is a lot easier to recover.
Bankroll for all systems combined I always recommend 200 units. I use to play poker professionally before online got shut down. For tourneys always kept 100units cash games for low stakes always kept 50 buyins. The higher you go in stakes the harder it is to win, so more variance you will encounter. With sports betting I think higher the juice the more variance so you need more units. Make sense? For NBA systems like John morrison only need like 50 units really if you are running a labby and resetting your lines. I did a test a couple years ago with the labby in his systems. The way I am doing it now and it can get ugly, but thats why im combining multiple systems together.
I think labby can get ugly when you are doing 1 line per system. If you have time you can look at on3's MLB system with his 3 line labby. I started off doing it that way, but just takes too much time figuring out all the numbers doing that for all systems individually.
Ok this is turning into a rant.
Summarize 200 units for playing multiple systems.
I will try and see if I can get a graph up over next couple of days. I do have quite a few of my own plays, but I am only up a little bit. Those bets are more for fun, doing ML hockey parlays etc. Graphs always helps grinders stay focus and visualize variance.Comment -

Tomorrow we have a day off from this system. Another day of profit for followers. The sharks game tonight seemed truly setup! I am not one to believe in setup games, but neimi truely looked like he bet on Buff this game. Sharks have not given up 5 goals all season and here they do it vs Buff of all teams! I was really considering a huge bet on this game, I am glad i stay disciplined on this one. I am sure others lost thousands on this one! I lost like 4 units because I had buff PL and Sjs ml. It seemed like Sharks shot at the with no real effort trying to get it in the net. They were handing the puck to the goalie it seemed. Its like sharks were on the road or something, they seemed like they had Jetlag. Just goes to show you should never underestimate any team! Buffalo has now beat sharks 5 straight times!Comment -

#124For those curious today I lost around 10 units with the systems. After evaluating my labby line I am at $22 x 23#s. If I happen to have 12 plays or more tomorrow I will evaluate the $506 on my labby line. I am only down little over 10 units on the week now, so hopefully can make back 4-6 units at least tomorrow. Cant win everyday, its turning into a long week with no results. Its just a matter of time though before its full recovered and I break $1350 again.
Enjoy the day off if you only play this system. I hope no one bet too much on sharks for other systems. I also want to note if more than one system has same play, I only play it for one bet, I do not double bet. I seen some people risk half their bankrolls when playing 3-4 systems have 3 systems have the same team as a play.Comment -

Looks like sharks will actually be able to win a game coming up against CAL. I feel most of the shots at goal that sharks take are right at the goal. I am not seeing much of top shelf or between the goalie legs or power behind their shots. Seems like they keep shooting the puck right at the goalie. I am surprised they actually scored 4 goals tonight. Anyways system remains undfeated, so lets close out these two series on Tuesday and Wed.
