The key is not going overboard with reverse jinxing. My first few attempts were fine but I pushed too hard with the third reverse jinx attempt and fcuked myself. Gotta keep it in moderation

Bourque loss is bullsh*t, should have been a push. I watched a lot of that game, he was sitting on one shot for most of the game and got his 2nd halfway through the 3rd period. Was credited with 2 on an app I use. Apparently they backtracked.

DG and PuckIt Ive gotta question for you boys...

My beloved Pens play the Panthers tomorrow and I am shocked by the opening line to say the least.

-180 ML and +160 PL seems more than fair in favor of the Pens.

This exact matchup last year was the biggest wager Ive ever made at 10 units, about half on PL half ML.

I believe the odds were something like -105 PL and -240 ML, both cashed for about +7 units.

It is THE EXACT SAME SCENARIO as last year with the Panthers playing the night before, and Markstrom coming in net after the starting goalie went down.

It was actually Markstroms first NHL start that game, and he actually played pretty damn good stopping something like 50 shots LOL.

Im tempted to make another LARGE play on this game with much better odds.

Not to mention I will be in attendance tomorrow night sitting 3 rows back from the glass (still kicking myself for not getting on the glass but got a fabulous deal on my tix).

What do you boys think? I was originally planning on playing the PL as I thought the ML odds would be much worse... Ive already put 2.5 units on the ML and 1.5 on PL but tempted to up it (not sure if value is on the ML or PL... I love +160 but at the same time -180 has never looked so safe)

What are your thoughts? Pens are 3-0 on the PL so far this year and Panthers are looking pretty well... like the Panthers LOL.

If Blues beat them 7-0 I feel like the Pens will be of similar fashion.

Honestly I just don't like PL's. I will absolutely be on the (-1) tomorrow because I have faith that the Pens have plenty of firepower to take a shoot-out with ease if it were to come down to that. I am not yet 100% confident in them, as they seem to once again be pretty streaky (in-game momentum shifts) with them looking A LOT like they did early in the season last year (dominate 1P, slack 2P, equal or dominate 3P) so depending on how bad of a 2nd they have it could do them in.

That being said, I am going to stick with Pens (-1) and Pens 1P ML (Pens are one of two teams to still have yet to allow a 1P goal against). I am very happy with the way that Malkin has been playing so far, and he seems to have matured since last season (Malkin was a major factor in the few plays I made last year AGAINST the Pens). With a more patient / mature Malkin, a healthy Crosby, and a slew of youngsters that are absolutely dominating thus far there is little to be concerned with IMO.

Side note, Bovada lists the prop as "Total Shots in the game" as opposed to Shots on GOAL...interesting.
