I am a family man now so do not have nearly as much time to be a degenerate on here like I used to

However the gambler inside me will never be eliminated just suppressed and controlled somewhat

Anyways looking forward to some good hockey talk on here as always and of course winning some money.

Yup in the back of my mind it seemed too easy. Normally I'd lay off in a back to back situation but figured it wouldn't matter this early in the season but man the Leafs look like shit tonight.

Fairly typical start for me. Usually always a dart throwing contest first few weeks but I'm just too competitive to stay away

I'm a bit nervous about rask, not because i think he's bad, but because i am just not a believer in huge nhl contracts. salary cap too low, and the cap is really important in nhl. much moreso than other sports. everything revolves around cap. i hate tying tons of cap space long term into 1 player (look at Seguin). they had to ditch Andrew Ference, a solid defenseman to say the least, to clear cap space for rask. their backup goalie is garbage (they let Khudobin go for 800k to sign a bum? don't see how they thought Khudobin not worth 800k. he was solid last year. .920 save % from a backup only getting paid 800k is VALUE). The bruins defense concerns me. In particular, how do you rely on 3 rookies down stretch. Krug lost bruins game 1 SCF (which they had in the bag) with AWFUL turnover in defensive end. Not confident that Krug/Bartowski/Hamilton (sat out entire playoffs) can win a cup. I'm big believer in defense. It makes me very nervous that Ference left, and bruins now have unproven rookies on their 3rd line. you need 3 solid defensive lines to win it all, in my opinion. that 3rd line could get lit up. they're probably gonna keep playing chara 30 minutes a game... seidenberg probably going to see close to that also. bruins defense makes me nervous. i don't trust rookie defenseman deep in playoffs.
