I'm thinking about fading the US team. I watched them against Germany and their power play was terrible. They were doing better when it was 5 on 5, but I am far from a hockey expert. I know 6.5 is a large total in this sport, so I don't really want to get involved with betting the over in a critical game. Is this a single elimination tournament for the playoff rounds?

Puckit, the US played very well like I was expecting --- but the refs were calling penalties if you looked at a guy wrong...
The US had 5 PPG's but the CZH could have had the same as the calls were pretty even during the 1st 2 periods. CZH had a meltdown in he 3rd when the game was out of reach.

Just watched the Canada game my god that was the worst performance and effort by them I can remember.

Americans played a hell of a game and deserve full credit for the win. Absolutely gutless effort by Canada

-Did some back game log checking and amazingly there has only been one scoreless 1st period in this entire tournament (26 games). The one that had a scoreless first was GER/SLK so I am only doing this for a unit just in case GER/LAT does scare me a bit with their lack of offensive prowess but two crappy teams playing for fun in a meaningless game should have some goals.

Ya gotta love the international tourneys they are always a money maker. It`s too bad that Can could not TCB... Would have made it a very profitable one, but Ill`gladly take any profit.

Also looking fwd to may to see if I can beat last years total of 56 units in the worlds - that was a nice ride. It will be very interesting if the NHL can`t get their shit together.
