    Gathering information...
I am trying to become a better capper, looking at different angles/trends/ etc rather than look at other capper's decisions, and play the hot picker....so, I was wondering where everyone goes to get their information, whether it be Historical info, current up-to-date on a particular team, etc etc. I am looking for information on ALL sports, ranging from NCAA football/basketball, NHL hockey, NBA, Tennis, soccer...you get the idea... just trying to find out where the information lies so I can make educated deductions rather than try and be a follower...Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated

I like to use covers and statfox. Tons of information. Statfox's Power Ratings went 2-0 today with AF and WVU. It had predicted AF to win by 8 and WVU by 10. I dont know how its been doing for the year or past years though, so I just use it as another source of info.

How do you do with WinPicks? Would it be a decent program for back-checking trends, systems, etc?

Yes it would DWS, but the featue I like is that you can export the data into Excel and then do what you want with it.
