I read a few posts on this forum and it seems this group is good at this sort of thing... here is my question:
Logistics Q w/ variables; how do I assign a group of 6 ppl into differing (and rotating) groups of 2 per day?
We have a mom's co-op where we have 6 moms that will rotate in pairs to teach our collective group of toddlers on each week's session (one day a week for ~4 months). I'm trying to find a pattern to use for assigning the schedule so that we have as many different combos of the 2 moms as possible (not always mom A + mom B etc.) AND allow for each mom to be OFF the ~same number of days before her day to teach again. I've been going around with this for hours!!! Seems there should be a formula or pattern I could follow???
Ex: moms are: A,B,C,D,E,F. Week 1: A+B, Week 2: C+D, Week 3: E+F, Week4: _?_ , etc. Does anyone know a way to make this work systematically? TIA!!!!
